MH4U is much like the previous games, super indepth but the beginning is real hard to get into. If you have friends playing, this is the best $40 you'll spend, but be prepared to do a lot of reading on GameFAQs.

I'm a recent N3DS owner and I am slowly building my library and finally got my hands on Monster Hunter 4. I am completely blown away at how fun this game is, the size of the map and overall the controls are functionality is perfect. A perfect game for kids and even better game for adults. Lots of quests, side missions, and awesome character leveling that will keep you busy for hours on end.

I've played the Monster Hunter series from the beginning, and they're my favorite series of all time. However, they weren't easy to just jump into as a beginner. This game is by far the best in the series. It's beginner friendly, but the overall difficulty is higher, which is great for us veterans. It has the largest amount of content out of the series, and the best gameplay mechanics. 10/10

If you've played Monster Hunter before you know what to expect. Great graphics, huge variety of weapon types and armors. The camera is so much easier to control with the New 3DS. Overall awesome game.

This game distills the best from the Monster Hunter series into an awesome portable package. The C-stick on the new 3DSXL makes the game a joy to play. The graphics are beautiful as well. Great game!

This game is a great entry for the Monster Hunter series and a great game for a newcomer of the series. Monster Hunter 4 uses the 3D features of the 3DS very well, and looks great at the same time.
