YAAASSSSSSS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay to be honest it was pretty great but it's a bit life consuming. And by life consuming I mean you will sit there playing for 7 hours and get attached to characters that may only have 3 lines of dialogue. All in all pretty dang good. 10/10 Would get beat up by monsters again.

Crafting, defeating monsters, getting better.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Monster Hunter 4 is great. You kill monsters, craft better weapons with the items obtained by killing monsters, rinse, repeat.

Great game, but not for the faint of heart
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.MH4U is a great game. It's a lot more indepth than you'd originally take it for. You can grind for hours and hours just to get materials for the next piece of gear. Coming from a Dark Souls background, I really enjoyed the variety of weapon types and roles you play when playing with other hunters. The Stamina and item management system are a bit hard to get the hang of but once you do, you're gold. Movements could be a bit more fluid, but that just goes with the difficulty, I guess.

The Best Monster Hunter game ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.monster hunter is like dark souls. a hard game about killing giant bosses but more. in the game you are a Hunter. you hunt and kill to make armor and weapons. and there are idk 14 or 16 type classes. p.s the game has online with 3 more players to hunt online on a team.

Still hard to get into
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Incredible amount of content but still hampered by the lack of explanation that turns most people off from this series.

Fun game

First Monster Hunter I've played...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First Monster Hunter I've played and now I'm hooked for life!!! It's so addicting! Just when you think the fight is over in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, the next challenger steps in and ups the level of competition for another satisfying round of combat and loot. Very few games can hook me in for hours upon hours, but just when it feels as if your getting bored comes new creatures, weapons, locations, and fighting moves to expand and reinvigorate my lust for the hunt. If you are new to the series and or 3DS, like me, this is a MUST OWN!!!

Great game and it came with $10 gift card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worth the $39.99 but even more when it came with a $10 gift card, making the price tag $29.99 and a total must buy. Too bad they ran out of the monster hunter new 3ds, really love the silver. Either way, as a monster hunter fan you wont be dissapointed.

Great Game..Maybe Not For The 3DS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Monster hunter has awlways beena great game, just maybe not for the 3DS. Graphics wise is amazing on the Wii, but translating it to the 3DS may have lost the beauty of the game. Playing for less than 15 minutes leaves me with headaches because of the blurry type quality with or without the 3D turned on. Overall the game is amazing, but maybe wasn't meant for the 3DS.

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This games plays out very good 10/10. The rpg elements and weapons buildup is like resident evil except you gather items and monster carves to upgrade. The monster themselves is the selling point. Several monsters with variable fighting skills

fun and exhilarating
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research online prior to purchasing this game, but it didn't surprise me to find out it was worth the purchase. The beginning part was a little tedious as is most intros to games, but other than that it always is interesting!

Great game! Hours of awesome gameplay!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a fan of Monster Hunter since the original on PS2...and this one is one of the best to date! "Monster Hunter 4" running on the New 3DS looks beautiful, runs smoothly and makes hunting these gigantic beasts all the more satisfying. With enough new improvements, additions and better multiplayer, you'll be playing this game more then any other game on the 3DS, next to Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and Zelda: Link Between Worlds.

Good followup to the series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After playing the previous MH, this one doesn't offer too much that's new, but that's the great thing about the series, it takes what it does well, and continues to do it well. MH4U plays a lot like a single player MMO, and it's a great distraction from the annoyances of the day, like work and taxes. Just be sure that you're playing this on a NEW 3DS or have a circle pad pro, otherwise the camera controls will take some getting used to.

Repetitive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is very repetitive. I bought it because of all the hype and i needed something to play when I traveled. It is so very repetitive. The second level you get to has all the same maps from the first level, so i doin't know what is up with that. It seems like there is only like one world to hunt monsters in. It's weird. The graphics are good though.
