Seasoned fans of the Monster Hunter series pretty much knows what they are getting into with this game and as such this review isn't for them. If you're new to the series this is the perfect game to start on. The game offers great in-depth tutorials for each weapon class to help you choose the perfect one for you. It will also give you great tips on how to fight the monsters and use items correctly so you don't get eaten.

Very solid game with countless hours of play time available. Has a great set of intro quests to get first time Monster Hunter players familiar with the game and ready to take on real challenges offered by local or online quests.

Incredibly deep and rewarding. I was instantly hooked, and played for hours the first day. The individual missions in the game can often be completed in only 10 minutes or so, which makes for a great "play anytime" type game.

This definitely took the series in a great direction. The annoyance of so many water hunts that plagued 3 are gone, but the charm and challenge remains. Maybe a little held back by only being on 3ds and not the WiiU as well.

This is an incredible game that makes great use of the New 3DS XL. 109s of hours of content, monster hunting, and replayability. Really deep equipment progression to keep players entertained. Local and online co-op as well.

As a newbie to the Monster Hunter franchise, this is a perfect place to start. It's the type of game you can either pick up & play for 15 minutes and still feel like you've made progress, or lose yourself for hours in.

I've been a long time avid fan of Monster hunter and I have to say this is the best entry yet. It's simple and very easy for beginners to jump into. If you've never played monster hunter, this is the time to join in

This game is so addicting. It's a huge grind to try and get the loot you want, but it doesn't feel like grinding because it's fun. If you're a fan of the Monster Hunter series, this game is a must-buy for sure.

MH4U is one of the best monster hunters. Very easy to get into and a lot of fun

This game is a great buy! Just need to warn people in advance you should have either the New 3DS XL or the Circle Pad Pro for the older 3DS. Without any of those the camera is really hard to control.

This game is a RPG gamer paradise. I do not recommend it for people who game casually, but this is a game for a perfectionist. Perfect game for the person wanting to play 100+ hours on one game

Been a fan of the series since MH3U. This game improves upon it in every way. If you are new to the series, the tutorial is the best yet, and many hours will be had. tldr: so fun. much wow.
