I hadn't played any of the MH series prior to this installment, but after picking up the demo I decided I had to get this. I'm loving the variety of weapons and monsters, and the action style of the game is a refreshing alternative to the many turn-based games I have for 3ds.

This franchise has always been great due to the online functionality. It great that this title has the same capability, but not being able to chat with others as in the older titles is a flaw. But if you're playing with friends in the same room - the game is excellent. BUY!

This is the first monster hunter game that I have been extremely addicted to. So fun the online is the biggest part of the game.

Great game with many gameplay hours but it's not as good if you don't have the new 3DS because you don't have the C stick

It has plenty of free DLC, plays well, has online co-op, and plenty of replay time. What more could you want in a game?

Grabed monster hunter for a long plane ride for PA to LA. Didn't put it down once the holy way... Addicting and fun

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is another great entry in the franchise. Recommend getting a New 3DS XL for playing this.
