Bought this very expensive cord and it didn't work with my brand new Samsung tv and my Direct TV 4k box. I ever returned the cable and exchanged it for a new one with the same issue. I tried a different MUCH cheaper cord, works great. Monster claims there is actually a directional way the cord needs to be plugged in, but it didn't work when I switched it either. Don't waste your money on this.

These cables are uni-directional. They are also not makes well enough to easily discern which direction!

While Monster is a great brand these cables are priced to high. These cables were originally sold to me by the Best Buy sales rep but then had to be replaced by the geek squad installers as they were too short for my application. Geek Squad replaced them with longer Rocket Fish cables that were cheaper than the Monster cables and still 4K quality.

it alter the resolution every time, but once it is settle it can work with no issues.

Purchased this cable in order to use the new k8500 Samsung 4k player. This cable was unable to pass the signal at 60hz. Returned and purchased Audioquest Forest and Cinnamon cables which works flawlessly

I am not very happy with my Lenovo laptop, it shuts down on me, not easy to navigate.i am hoping to ask one of the associates at Best Buy to assist me

The cable installer did not recommend using this product and it did not provide good hd tv viewing. A cable did he price did a better job.

Called Geek squad. they never called us back. Through process of elimination we determined the HDMI cord was not working. Was told I could not return it because we no longer had the packaging.

I had to return the product because it did noe work.

I have read multiple reviews about Monster HDMI Cables and I use to agree they are expensive and they show a picture as well as a cheaper brand of cable you can buy on line, due to this fact I purchased a Monoprice 15' HDMI cable. the Monoprice cable was unable to support the Blue Ray signal coming through my receiver, it did support the Directv signal. I bought the 16' Monster black platinum cable and it solved my problem. Signal comes through perfectly from all sources. I will not cheap out on cables again. Monster makes a great product!

I have an in the wall installation and this cable is exactly the length and quality I need! The quality is top notch and easy to use.

I had geek squad install my wall mounted tv and they recommended this cable since it's in wall rated. After reading the specs and looking at the review it's a great option. Clarity on our 4K tv is amazing.

We were forced to spend 150 dollars on a cable because they did not have a cable longer than 9 feet in the Gold series, which we first purchased. We had to feed it behind the wall and after connecting and rehanging TV there was no picture (for TV, Cable, Blue Ray, etc.). After spending much time to diagnose the problem (and looking over the product info carefully on the packaging and paperwork) my son just happened to notice a small label on one end of the cable that just said "TV". On the off-chance that that end had to be plugged into the TV, we pulled the cable out of the wall and plugged that end into the TV. It worked. We have never heard of a 'one-way" HDMI cable and when we went back to Best Buy, none of the employees in the home theater department had ever heard of it either. When we contacted MONSTER via e-mail to tell them that their product does not have sufficient information or instructions on the packaging or paperwork, it took them a week to respond by e-mail, and only to say we should call them to return the cable. Customer service at MONSTER is rated extremely bad in our view. Also, Best Buy should know more about the products they sell. We had to get someone to help us take the 65" TV off the wall again, rethread the cable inside the wall and rehang the TV. We also spent much time in diagnosing the problem. This review is only to share information with possible buyers that should have been included with the product.
