This is a very overpriced item, you can buy online a much better quality for much less

Short and sweet review ... Cable works as advertised. The lights don't. This is my second one that the lights don't work on. They wont show anything higher than "HD" even while watching 4K. After digging through forums I found out they Know they don't work because of a bad chip in them and continue to sell them anyway. I returned the first one and was sent the one without the lights. They wouldn't send me one with the lights working .. I'm pretty sure because they didn't have any. Well I'm not sending this one back because they don't give the difference in price between the lesser ones anyway, plus I'd be out the shipping again which was like 20.00. So all in all I paid 125.00 for a 80.00 cable that I ended up with. I think one star was generous!!!!

For $100 don't see much difference in the picture.

I ended up taking these HDMI cords back. Realized that before Monster will upgrade these cords different technology will render HDMI obsolete. These cords have 3 indicating lights, UHD 4K, HD and SD. I have the newsest Samsung UHD 4KUBD-K8500 Blu-ray player and a brand new Sony 4K tv XBR65X850D , i purchased all at the same time. The highest these cords would indicate were HD. I spoke to Monster tech support and they claimed my player is only upconverting to UHD. Well it is not upconverting a UHD disc when played through my UHD player. The Monster tech looked up the Samsung player and was like oh, he said "I dunno". I researched HDMI like I should have and went with a pair from monoprice.

The $100 HDMI cord must be re-plug into the port at different times to be recognized by the PC or TV? My extra regular HDMI cord is working better? I think Monster HDMI stands for horror movie performance maybe?

Bought this to go with a 4k TV and it made no difference in picture quality put my 10$ HDMI back on it looks the same waste of money

no difference between regular HDMI cable form Optimum and this cable. I will return it. Overrated. And I had another gold HDMI cable that I bought a few years ago and went bad

I can't tell if these high end expensive cables are improving my picture quality, to be quite honest.

We were looking at different tvs. Actually bought 1 from another store but APPs didn't work. So after research we bought a 50 inch Samsung from the other store all PPs worked. Well a friend showed me this 50 inch smart tv from best buy. So we went into the store 3 days after getting other tv and wife saw the Samsung 55 inch ultrhd4k tv with smart hub and fell in love with picture so we took other tv back to other store and went to besy buy and got this Samsung using the cheap rockfish HDMI cables after hook up someone told us to get this monster cable and if we didn't think picture was better he would pay for it. Not only was the picture awesome with this monster cable the internet loaded faster and apps also loaded faster so we kept the monster cable. Why spend 1299. on a TV and then cheap out on the cables I learned my lesson. The picture is amazing with this monster cable.

Well-known electronics writers said that all HDMI cables were the same; however, I've used MONSTER products way back then (1990's) and proven its high standard quality and performance over-and-over again. I was recommended AUDIOQUEST CARBON by BESTBUY, but rather purchased this MONSTER product with 27 Gbps bandwith speed, and behold! ... Time Warner Cable's 1080i broadcast improved to at least 1080p, and beyond. Amazing color rendition, and detailed picture clarity... much more better than AUDIOQUEST CARBON I previously purchased somewhere. MONSTER PRODUCTS used to be the flagship in BESTBUY stores, but now promoting AUDIOQUEST products ... I don't know why????

These HDMI cables are perfect, not only do they transmit beautiful picture and sound, they tell you the resolution level the is being received at the TV and fit snuggly. I'm so impressed with these cable that I now own five of them to relay quality picture and sound from all my devices to my OLED.

Anyone who has a 4K tv/3D I would highly recommend this cable. It is by far the best cable Best Buy offers and it is gaurenteed for life. You will not be disappointed trust me.

PICTURE QUALITY IS MUCH BETTER AND ON SALE AT A UNBEATABLE PRICE

As all most things, when you see a high price tag you tend to look for something else for cheaper. Well all I can say is you get what you pay for and Monster, although expensive, is always well worth the money. I like the 4k indicator on the end of these HDMI's which let you know when you are actually getting a 4K picture or just a 1080p one. With the way resolutions are coming up, you may not really know if your getting a full 4K or not because of the up-scaling of many TV's. It may look clear ;however, it still may not be it's full capabilities. That indicator helps you know its 4K....

I have definitely noticed a difference in picture color and clarity since switching to this cable.

The Monster cables are well made and the THX-certified cables can be exchanged for faster MBPS cables when they're made available.

The cable does a great job no matter what resolution your using. Way better than my sony hdmi.
