To go 4K all the way you need the newest HDMI cables on the market. You may spend a little more for these but they're worth it. Monster maintains a great reputation for quality products.

I recently bought a 40" 4K UHD TV, and used the same HDMI cable that I've used for the last 6 years. With my Xbox One connected, the image would cut in and out constantly while watching tv. I knew I needed a cable that supported a 4K image. I've always considered Monster a great brand when it comes to audio and video output, and this is no exception. Even though my Xbox does not support 4K at this time, the image is great all the same, and the picture no longer cuts in and out. If you've purchased a brand new 4K tv this holiday season, I recommend the Monster platinum brand. They are durable and high quality. Definitely worth the price!

Improves quality with bluray but not much of a difference with standard dvd

I bought this when I bought my Samsung 4K 65" TV. Connected it to my cable box and started watching. Great picture, couldn't ask for anything better. Its worth the $59!

These cables may cost more than other brands, but it is worth the expense. Look at the construction quality and compare it to others. Now, think about how much we pay for our high quality TV's. You get what you pay for, and I have yet to have to replace this brand of cable versus others.

Monster Cables are quite expensive but they are the best in the market. Most of my HDMI cables are all Monster Cables. There are no video or audio feed lost from the cable box and game consoles to the home theater receiver using these higher end rated HDMI cords from Monster Cable. I did have an annoying lower quality audio output experience using the brand Rocket Fish of the same or close to the same spec rating when connecting the Rocket Fish HDMI cord from the cable box and game consoles to the home theater receiver; there would be random 1 second of no sound during cable or video game play when using the Rocket Fish HDMI cord with the home theater surround system. Now I use the Rocket Fish HDMI cord to connect my laptop or any other portable device that has a HDMI connection directly to the TV and run an optical audio out cord from the TV to the home theater receiver without any audio problems. If you are connecting a device to a 4K "upscale" surround system I would recommend spending the extra dollars on a 4K rated Monster Cable for your 4K TV and surround system. If you have an older surround system that still works fine but does not support 4K "upscale" or just need a HDMI cord to connect directly to your 4K TV, go with Rocket Fish or Insignia 4K rated HDMI cord and save yourself some money; don't over pay for the extra "external noise reduction/eliminator" features that you won't ever need from a Monster Cable when connecting your devices directly to the 4K TV.

In my experience with monster cables and believe me I've just about seen them all spaning 35years of hooking up stereo systems since the early 1980's to the days of 2chanel sound is my belief that the monster cables were nothing like the ones that out now a days and back then they were still expensive indeed modern technology has advanced and so has the cables but don't be fooled into thinking that they're all the same as some people mention I have news for you the're not this cable I got was the 2nd grade down from the mother one cable and the reviews were correct this cable is as good as it gets enjoy

I thought there was no difference between all hdmi cables. Apparently I was wrong. You need these high speed cables for the hdr/4k picture to be transmitted

Definitely the choice for an HDMI cable. Great warranty to boot. Tried an ordinary cable just to see the difference. Investing in a large LED TV?Get the Monster!

I have been using Monster hdmi cables on my home theater gear for at least 10 years and find them to be well made and reliable. I still use a 10 year old Monster hdmi cable without issues. This cable has the bandwidth to handle the hdmi 2.0 specification without issues. I know that it is said that all you really need is a high speed hdmi cable but I have had issues with these lower bandwidth cables as technology has improved. Foolish ideas maybe but I have had no problems over the years. Only negative I have is the price.

I was using some cheaper HDMI cables. Ones that came with my Directv receiver. Was getting too much pixelation. Bought these Monster cables for TV and DVD and all looks good. Kicking myself for not having before. Spend the extra when you have a good system.
