    I purchased this cable as recommended to me by the sales person because my new TV was a 4000 hd and my old cables I was told would not transmit this hd. I plugged the cable into my TV and my reception began to be intermittent. The picture from my direct TV box would come and go like a storm was coming. I changed back to my old cable and the problem was gone. I may have just purchased a bad cable but I returned it to the store and had no problem in getting refund.
