This cable seems quite a bit more substantial that cable which was provided by my cable provider. I bought this because TV salesman recommended it. I never had the skinny cable hooked to my new TV so I can't say whether this cable really makes any difference or not.

I know a lot of people won't buy the monster brand because of how much they are to buy but as far as the cables you buy not just the product but the life time warranty with it. So through NORMAL USE of the cable it breaks or technology because more advance than which the cable was meant to do then they Monster will send ya another one. You can't beat that. As far as better picture or audio...Slightly better picture and a heck of a lot better sound.

I got the cable for the sole purpose of connecting my dvd player to the tv, but I don't think it was really necessary. The cable is suggested for transmitting 4k signal, but if your dvd player isn't capable of 4k and the dvd isn't 4k, the cable is an expensive connector.

I can't honestly say I can see a difference with this cable. I am not a TV fanatic so I'm probably not the best judge. I had a lesser expensive Rocketfish cable that seemed the same. Only 3 stars due to price.

If you want true 4k quality then this is the HDMI for you. The product is well built and the company promises lifetime upgrades if your technology changes. Well worth the money.

Used this with new UHD 4K, very happy with picture and performance. Looks stylish also.

i was never told i needed two cables one for the tv and one for the player that would have helped save a trip back to the store

This HDMI cable is a must for connecting your HDTV to your satellite or cable provider. Of course you can connect with the old wires but your tv picture will not be as good.

A must have if you go to a 4K resolution set, the lock in feature is great so they cannot get pulled out on accident! Top quality you should expect from Monster

If you own a 4K TV you must have one if not two! One for your Blue Ray player and one for your HD cable/sat box. I've gotten the best picture from these cables!

I m use to buying the best but this is a fairly good hdmi cord for the price. The best would be the vodka hdmi cord -well over a couple hundred but quality is the best for visual.
