First one was defective

I never thought a cable could go bad. Best Buy happily exchanged it for me. My negative review is only because the first one was defective.

Could not get it to work

I hooked it up (tried several times), and it would not transmit data. I had to revert back to my old Rocket Fish cable I bought a few years ago to get a picture displayed on my brand new TV.

So glad that Best Buy has a good return policy for any faulty equipment you purchased there. It took some doing, but after checking the other possible causes, this cable is the culprit - no picture, no sound.
