Expensive cable that had a connector fall off but still works.

Haven't noticed the difference from a regular HDMI

This cable just does not work. It took 10 minutes to achieve a handshake I tried a blue jean cable at half the price and bingo I get handshake within 2 seconds Stay away from this HDMI cable.

I purchased this thinking I wouldget a better quality of picture with my 4k set up. However, no different that a 75% cheaper insignia.

After purchasing I've done additional research; I have found cables with same functionality at 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of this cable.

Had the cable less than a month quit working. When i called monster they said send it back but would cost as much as a new one for shipping.

Installed on new Sony 85" 4K tv and did not work out of the box.

Even if you don't have 4k, you will notice a difference in terms of audio and video quality with this cable simply because it has the highest data transfer rate out of any consumer HDMI cable presently on the market and you'll be "Future-Proofed" for when you do decide to upgrade to 4k because you won't need another cable. Monster also offers a Lifetime Cable Guarantee if you register your cable online and that also includes free replacement of your cable when a better version comes out. That will be a while though since this is presently the best cable available to consumers.

Bought this cable to partner with my Sony Bravia 4K/Ultra HD TV due to the high speed requirement for 4K, picture quality is fantastic.

I love this cable. Nice upgrade from my hdmi cable that I had for 4 years. Once again Monster did it... seems to produce a bit sharper image on my LG LCD tv over the Monster The ISF cable produces a smoothe and fluid picture on my 120hz tv. Other cheaper cables can't hold the 120hz, I have tried them all. This ISF cable has great construction and as always will last a lifetime. The LED display is a great feture. Lets you know the exact type of signal you are getting. WOW!! My LG never looked so good, deep blacks, vivid colors, and bright whites. My 1080p hd movies look great..... smoothe and fluid with my 120hz set to 10.... Just got the ISF calibration cd and MAN!! What a picture!! I am telling you this cd realy shows you what this cable can do picture wise. I Also got the Monster HTS 1700 HD Stage 2 power conditioner. WOW!!! The combination of all 3 really sets up for the best picture you can get out of a tv set. I have a sick setup... can't wait to upgrade my LCDtv to an LEDtv with this ISF cable and really open this pup up to see what it can do..... thanks Monster. Yeah I paid a bit for it but you get what you paid for and it is for life.... now I am in another world.... lol .. I actually see things I never did before... great detail.... love the V Grip stays firmly in place...

I have a Hd cable service and My new tv, the picture kept Freezing for a second or two. Callrd My service provider out and they said Not on Our end, Has to be the Tv. Not at all. This Hdmi cable solved the problem Totally.

I bought two of these for one specific reason that may seem odd to most. I bought a new A / V cabinet and my old 4' cables were just a tad too short. These 5' cables fit through the cable channels and leave little slack. These are stand out cables for my stand out designed A/V cabinet. A perfect match! The cable performs as expected which is like most any other cable but in this case, I should never have to change it as it is faster than anything out there #which seems odd to say since there are 3 higher end ISF cables from Monster that cost far more than this cable#. The difference in this cable and those 3 higher end cables #besides the speed rating# is that this cable does not have the resolution indicator light.

The PQ on my Samsung 4k tv cleared up with this cable.I had artifacts with a cheap cable that disappeared when I hooked up this monster.

I bought a PS4 back on launch day, in November 2013. At the time, I had a new entertainment stand, and due to the position I had my PS4 at, I had to use a "cheap" HDMI cable that was long enough to reach to my receiver. This cable was one of the (many) no-name brands you can buy at department stores, for like twenty bucks. Every once in a while, just randomly, the screen on my PS4 would go black for a few seconds and then come back. This happened on average maybe once a week. I chalked it up to just the fact that the PS4 was new, and Sony was maybe having issues with HDMI output. But then I thought, maybe it was the HDMI cable; despite reading all these websites that say there is no difference between no-name cables and pricier ones, I never really believed them. So I bought the Monster Black Platinum HDMI cable, hooked it up from my PS4 to my receiver, and bam: no more random black screens. But that is not all: the time it takes from when I turn on the PS4 to when my TV screen displays a picture is also much, much quicker than before. I can only assume the HDMI handshaking process simply runs faster & better on Monster's Black Platinum cables than on cheaper ones. So, fun fact of the day: good, quality HDMI cables do make a difference.

We purchased this cable when buying a new tv. The associate told us that it was the best one for the tv that we were purchasing. The cable works fine but it is for better tvs than we got.

I have had other cables before that were good, but this one really great! I noticed right a way a better picture and even better sound from my audio system. I strayed away from these cable because I thought the price was a little high. well you get what you pay for will never use the cheaper cables again. Even the Direct T.V. signal improved, mostly noticed it on the Blu Ray player when converting to 4K.

You will need this for higher end TV's, don't skim, this is the life blood of your entertainment system.

enough said. watch for tight spaces because these cords are so thick they don't like to bend.

Not bad for the price as of now it seems very strong and can hold up to the heat

Works great only drawback is how does it justify the price compared to other HDMI cables.
