    I was looking for some surge protection without having to spend a fortune. Monster makes this reasonalby priced prodcut (as well as some more expensive versions). I found this one to be the best for my needs.

    We have frequent power blinks during the spring when squirrels get zapped on the powelines. This is why I didn't go with a cheap one from the dollar store. I consider this power surge protector an investment.
