Great surge protector with neat features
I was in the market for a power strip when I noticed that I wouldn't have enough electrical outlets for the new workstation/desk that I was building in my home office. Best Buy had several power strips to choose from but I chose this particular power strip because it had two 3.4-amp usb ports which fit nicely in the design of the new desk area I was building. It also offers 6 standard 3 prong outlets which allowed me to connect my iMac, powered speaker monitors, my wife's cameo machine, and other misc items that I have on my desk. Probably the most important feature is its surge protection because you never know when you need that sort of protection. Installation was easy as I installed this horizontally on the wall behind my desk to avoid having cables lying around everywhere. There are 4 holes on the back of the power strip. To install this on a wall like I did, I made a cardboard template that match the screw holes on the back of the power strip. It was a piece of cake. Also, I found this same exact model at a significant discount on a competitors' website and Best Buy had no problems matching their competitors' pricing. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and I would recommend it as a good buy.

Replaced Monster gas once before
We have always used Monster brand surge protectors to keep our electronics safe so had to get another one when one made a piercing noise that I assumed was the result of a power surge.

I use this to take my other monster strip and it makes my entertainment console smooth and ready to power anything
