I was in the market for a power strip when I noticed that I wouldn't have enough electrical outlets for the new workstation/desk that I was building in my home office. Best Buy had several power strips to choose from but I chose this particular power strip because it had two 3.4-amp usb ports which fit nicely in the design of the new desk area I was building. It also offers 6 standard 3 prong outlets which allowed me to connect my iMac, powered speaker monitors, my wife's cameo machine, and other misc items that I have on my desk. Probably the most important feature is its surge protection because you never know when you need that sort of protection. Installation was easy as I installed this horizontally on the wall behind my desk to avoid having cables lying around everywhere. There are 4 holes on the back of the power strip. To install this on a wall like I did, I made a cardboard template that match the screw holes on the back of the power strip. It was a piece of cake. Also, I found this same exact model at a significant discount on a competitors' website and Best Buy had no problems matching their competitors' pricing. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and I would recommend it as a good buy.

We have always used Monster brand surge protectors to keep our electronics safe so had to get another one when one made a piercing noise that I assumed was the result of a power surge.

I use this to take my other monster strip and it makes my entertainment console smooth and ready to power anything

I would recommend this product for someone with a bunch of cords or connections !!

This is a very great product because not only that it protects $500,000 off merchandise is caught on fire but it also has port to charge phones USB port to charge your phones it's got like 6 outlets and it works great and it protects your equipment

After buying all new kitchen appliances from Best Buy, the installer suggested I buy good quality surge protectors (1500 joules or better). I purchased the strip to protect my television, cable box, and DVD player. Very easy to install - it gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing my electronics are protected from electricity surges

My old surge protector died so needed another. I checked out all the available products there and they ranged from inexpensive to very expensive. I wanted good protection AND didn't want to pay a whole lot. This fit the bill....it works well and even has a great warranty!

It was a great purchase for the new television I bought. I am very happy with the results so far. It protects in a lightening storm. Very good product for here in south Florida with all the storms and hurricanes.

Many features to this and I wanted something to protect all our electronics, as they are too expensive not to. I'd rather pay more for a product to have peace of mind. I'd buy it again tomorrow if I needed another one.

I got this only because i had extra gift and points to redeem before they expired. I was using a basic ,cheap strip before. I decided to upgrade and hopefully protect my 6 year old 40" LCD and 1 year old Blueray. Knock on wood with all the storms we get in Florida I have not had any issues. Hopefully I wont have any problems in the future and this will save me.

Product feels solid and it even comes with a warranty! I made sure to read the specs before purchasing to make sure it's what i need. So far I had no issues with it!

I have about $3500 worth of electronics plugged into this thing so it better do its job if lightening strikes. I needed a unit that could handle multiple AC adaptors that are too big to be plugged in side by side but still be small enough to tuck out of sight. This does the job.

Monster products always deliver in quality and functionality. They are a little pricey but it's worth it because I know I on't be needing to replace it probably ever. That's what I wanted - a one time investment without worry about it anymore.

Worked out really well with the number of connections and able to plug-in and recharge usb devices! Reasonably priced, great quality.

I purchased this power strip for my TV and cable connections. It fits the bill on size and the jury is out on its efficacy. We have a lot of lightning in our area and I am hoping this will help protect my TV. So far it has done well on power surges.

The warranty on this product sold me beyond the capabilites posted. The protection plan for damaged goods is so high they must mean business. Beyond that, the USB ports are a great add. This unit also turns itself off at any possible overdraw of power, which makes me feel really safe running electronics in my 100yr old home. I also love how the outlet plug is set up, so the cord points down, not straight out from the wall; more sleek for fitting behind things.

I have an older version that was much bigger, this is the perfect size and great warranty.
