Geek Squad made recommendation based on my needs. The surge protector was exactly what I needed and it has performed perfectly to protect the significant investment we made in a new LG flat panel TV and related equipment, including Apple TV and Sony Blue Ray DVD.

Surge protector has already been tested a month into its use and has done fine keeping power surge from killing tv and DVD hooked to it. A printer hooked directly to a different outlet was not so fortunate, but it's replacement now is attached and protected.

When I realized the outlet I was using was the source of my problems, I went to BestBuy and the guy recommended Monster-Power because I was going to use it with my Smart TV. Really has improved my viewing and everything else I'm doing with the TV.

If you need additional outlets and surge protection is a must, you can't go wrong with this product. Well spaced, well labeled outlets and USB ports are a big plus. Only downside, constructed with very light casing. Not recommended for desk top use as due to its light weight it tends to slip and slide all over the desktop though you can screw it down if you want to and you don't mind screw holes in your desks top.

There must be some truth behind protecting your electronic devices. I have yet to experience any power outages that damaged any electronics, but I was convinced to purchase this surge protector in the case of. So the 4 stars is not to condemn this product, it's just a lack of experience on my part to truly judge if this works and I don't want to lead anyone in the wrong direction.

For what I needed this power strip/Surge protector for, fit the bill perfectly (no pun intended). I didn't want to spend too much, as this is to accommodate our flat screen tv and B&W Panorama 2 with a Def Tech Super Cube 4000, and wireless cable box. The high end stuff is in our dedicated home theatre. Monster makes good products for the money so no hesitation with this purchase. Easy to install and has convenient mounting options on the back side if you need to mount it on a wall or the like.

Purchased for the installation of our new TV, so far so good. Went through a storm recently where we did have a couple power surges and this seemed to protect everything we had plugged into it. Overall a great product.

Right after we moved in to our house, we had several days of severe thunderstorms. Power surges and power outages. This saved our devices that were plugged in to it! Definitely worth spending the extra money.

The surge protector we purchased was recommended by the sales representative at the Best Buy store where we shop. We were very pleased with the information we received, and we have been very pleased with the surge protector. We certainly feel confident that the surge protector that we purchased will protect our electronics should they need to be protected.

This is my second power strip of the same model. Although I have not gone through a power surge to test it out (thankfully), but it does have a high money limit for failure. It is sturdy and has plenty of outlets. Along with the ability to plug cable through it and USB ports, it has every option one could need. The chord is also very sturdy and is a solid 6 feet I think which is very useful unlike most on the market.

I purchased this item to sit behind my computer monitor in my kitchen. It works perfectly! I now have room to charge all of my electronic devices on the desk rather than taking up valuable counter top space.

Replacing our 10 year old TV meant thinking about its protectors. To be sure we felt a new surge protector was a wise move since we are subject to rather frequent power problems in our town.

monster makes the best products ever and their warranties are phenomenal I had one in the past go bad and they sent me a upgraded version and I will always buy monster for everything that I can

The young man that helped me to understand the difference when picking this out instead of the another brand. Is the reason I purchased this brand and it had everything I was looking for.

Up north, I had a media setup with a Monster for backup protection, and it worked really well. When I did a new setup here in FL, I bought another Monster for protection.

Works well has not overheat. Wish I would have purchase before I had a surge increase all my electronics broke a.c., tv, pc. It also comes with a warranty.

Even though you pay more for this high end Monster product it means you get the quality and reliability you want. There are plenty of problems that can arise with power issues.

I haven't had a storm strong enough to test out the features of the power strip, and honestly hope I don't have to. Works well as a regular power strip. It was expensive.

Moved to new (but old house built in 1949). Needed to protect T.V. from power surges. Very few electrical outlets in old home. This 6-outlet Surge Protector is a must.

I've spent thousands of dollars for my audio equipment. This trusty power surge will save them if i ever have any power issues living in my pre-war, New York apartment.
