Do not buy this product. You will be sorry !!! I purchased it and at first I got 200mbps. After two weeks I was getting speeds of less than 75 Mbps. I called the 1-800 number and the jerk told me that it could get up to that speed. The box says it's suppose to get up to 1900 Mpbs. I would never buy a Motorola product again.

WiFi connection drops constantly, not compatible with Nest thermostat. Return period was over, so I had to turn off WiFi and connect an external router.

    Very Nice and Fast

Replaced my SB6190 and eero (2) mess network routers with this modem/router combination. The speed is better throughout my 2000 sq ft home than my previous setup. Easy installation and setup using a web browser. Both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks are fast with excellent range. I'm only using 1 of the router's gigabyte ports to connect to a 5-port gigabyte switch which serves a server, desktop and a printer. Couldn't be happier!

Wouldn’t allow streaming movies in a room at the bottom of the stairs. Really, one door between the tv and router. Slow speed even in the same room.

I had to replace this router because it would not connect to Activision gaming servers. If you care about gaming this not a good router to buy. But if you don't care for gaming its adequate.

This needs less than one star. It has an easy interface that allows you to configure an "allowed" time schedule per mac address. When I put it online, it could not handle the traffic. I tried everything including support. this modem/router combo is awful. So much time wasted switching modems back and forth on teh phone with the cable company to see if there was something wrong on their end. 2 other modems performed fine on the same cable line withing an hour of each other. This one tanked, hard. So much time lost.

Touted as a maximum range router it is far, far from it. The Netgear modem/router is clearly superior.

I’ve owned this for less than a year before having problems with connectivity. All of a sudden it doesn’t work and repeatedly kicks me off the VPN of my work laptop. And currently it has 0 Mbps download speed. AND it’s impossible to reach Motorola by phone for technical assistance. I thought I purchased this modem two years ago and maybe it was time to replace it but I purchased it ten months ago. Wouldn’t recommend this product or company.

This modem is really bad. I was getting constant buffering with 50 mbps Comcast internet service. I had to connect my computer to the modem with an ethernet cable to get a reasonable signal, otherwise I was constantly getting an unstable signal. Was not usable with DISH Anywhere app. Constant buffering and glitches even though I had doubled my upload speed from previous service. GARBAGE!

I bought this to upgrade my home network because I have been working from home so much. First day I had to install my old modem back in place because I could not get my VPN connection to work. Contacted Motorola tech support and was told they had received numerous complaints about this model for VPN issues and they suggested I return it and get the next model up. I returned it and bought a different brand. That has no problems.

I pay for 150 mbps and only getting 10-15 if I’m lucky. Called my provider and when hard wiring works 150 mbps or better. I purchased the geek squad to help me they were basically no help at all. I guess there’s a reason I haven’t shopped at Best Buy in awhile and with here customer service and geek squad don’t think I’ll be purchasing anything from them in the near future. Buy Netgear great customer service and tech support.

Bottom tier package ONLY with Cox Communications

The product is only acceptable to Cox Communications paired with their most basic package. They will not allow anything better than the bottom tier despite the box indicating the modem exceeds their specs. Frustrating problem that is not the fault of Motorola but anyone wanting to use Cox for internet needs to know this.
