We were like many others using the cable company's modem and a separate wireless router. We were having frequent service interruptions. I called Comcast and they acknowledged that my equipment was woefully antiquated. I looked on their website to find compatible products and settled on this one. Easy to set up and much more consistent in service. My computer is always online and my Bluetooth printer connection is always ready to print. Great upgrade.

Replaced a high-end Netgear modem/router that had terrible performance as a router in my large (4000 sf) home. The Motorola modem router has outstanding cable internet performance and extends the wifi signal throughout my home and into my backyard. Very easy to set up and to monitor connections and performance.

This modem had been very helpful for me. The option of being able to do both worked or wireless at mbps speeds listed has made my internet smooth. I'm on a performance starter internet package with Xfinity (25 mbps) and the modem facilitates the streaming well with wifi booster throughout the house. If you're trying to do gaming with an internet starter plan like mine, plug your device directly to the modem for smooth performance.

This product is good and bad. Compared to the rental Xfinity unit, this one has a stronger signal and at times seems more responsive. However there are times when I am playing games on my iPad and I will get a message saying that the ping is too high. This never happened with the rental. There is also times when the connection will get lost for a second or two. I also had issues connecting my devices to this product as it would cause interference with the one that were already connected. I am leaning on returning this unit.

I now get faster internet connection and a stronger wifi signal with my new Mototola-Dual-Band Router with cable modem. It was very easy to set up, the hardest part was getting a hold of the cable company so they could send the setup signal. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Have used this cable modem for six months now and no issues. Never have to re-power to reset and the range has been consistently great.
