    I ended up replacing this with another modem. This one did not play well with my Comcast connection. The up stream channeling kept dropping. This modem is listed as being compatible with Comcast so it may have just been a faulty unit. Normally Motorola make excellent products.

    Died after 3 months. Judging by the other reviews, 3 to 4 months is the limit for Motorola modems now. My previous Motorola modem lasted 5 years and I only 'upgraded' because Xfinity upgraded their service. Of course, it is non returnable now. Xfinity is certain that the modem is to blame and I concur since it will restart, work for a minute, then lose connection. It cannot even be reached by 192.168.0.1.
