Not Good if You need 5 GHZ Band

It was easy to set up, but that was where the good part ended. I've gone through three units in the past six weeks. After about three weeks, the 5 GHz band stopped working properly (intermittent and disappeared on the list of available networks) on the first unit. Motorola advised me to exchange it. I did, and the same issue started occurring 11 days later on the second one. I was again advised to exchange it. The third modem immediately had the same issue. I guess the signal is so weak that it can't handle going across an 800 sq apartment. I don't have time to continue to exchanging, so I'll be going back to Netgear once this modem dies. Meanwhile, all devices will be on the 2.4 GHz band.

works ok if you don't use many devices, price is high for performance level. I went with Motorola because I Have a motorola surfboard extreem model SBG6580 in my Florida residence and it works much better, and was less expensive.

Even though it says it right on the Comcast website, this modem is in fact not compatible. It blocks some external servers from being reached.

the speeds are very high through the ethernet cable, but wirelessly the speeds are lacking, especially from little distance away from the router.

Had issues trying to port forward for a camera system in my home. After hours on tech support between the camera company, the cable company and modem support. The modem had a problem and it was returned. Brand changed all worked fine.

Reason I give this product a 3 Star is because it's the 2nd unit i own the first went bad after a week, 5GHz stored working, I'll increase my rating if this 2nd unit fictions properly after a month

This router modem is very expensive with only average performance. I am disappointed in motorola because I always felt they were the best. This model is not much better then the N-450 router at almost twice the cost. Try another brand.

I purchased this because I wanted to save money for the modem instead of leasing from comcast, it worked great for about 6 months but them it started cutting my wi-fi connection, so i've been dealing for 3 months with comcast that finally came to my home and told me the problem is the modem, so reluctant because they wanted me to rent their modem I just tried replacing cables and dealed with it, but now its enough, this modem is only good for 6 months

    Died After Ten Weeks

After ten weeks of rock-solid performance, this router could no longer connect to the internet (it spent its last five days having sporadic drops). Upon troubleshooting with my ISP, my old router connected to the internet perfectly. Of course this new router of mine would die two weeks after my ability to return the device to BB has lapsed. Looks like I'll be sending a support ticket to Motorola and hoping for the best.

It’s okay for a small space or large area with no obstructions. Signal is kinda weak in other rooms compared to other products.

It works an easy to set up - but I have a 2200 sq ft home and total the coverage is not very good. The use of an extender is necessary.

I wish I didn’t buy this and keep the Xfinity router originally had. Seems to me that Xfinity will AD some sort of “blocks” to any router than isn’t theirs
