My Arris modem failed after a year of use, I’m giving Motorola a try. So far is good and fast, easy to install.

Great modem. I am getting 927mbit/sec out of the 800 I am supposed to get, in other words, it is able to take everything my ISP is giving me.

I had a motorola modem before this one for ten years and still works great. This one works great as well and is faster than my last one.

This is a great modem and at the time was the cheapest docsis 3.1 modem with a 2.5Gig port. Has been running great since I got it.

Husband bought this to replace an EoL Motorola cable modem from 2014 for use with Comcast / Xfinity, which appeared to be periodically dropping connection. This worked perfectly OOTB first time setup and has worked flawlessly since putting into service m He had also tried a Netgear modem ($50 cheaper due to a better discount) but Comcast wasn't able to get that to activate.

I purchased this modem in May 2022, and a few months afterwards it was going off-line on a regular basis for 30 seconds to a minute at a time and then reconnecting. All the lights remained lit but on the Xfinity app it was showing that it was off-line A Comcast technician switched out the cable from the wall to the modem and that seem to fix it for a while. Recently it started doing the same thing going off-line every 5 minutes for a minute. The Comcast tech technician could not find anything wrong with the cable signal. When it started acting up again, this month, I decided that since I had purchased the warranty, it was not working as advertised and traded it in for another manufacture modem. As soon as I got the replacement provisioned, and up and running, it’s been rocksolid. I can only conclude that this particular Motorola modem was having issues with perhaps a borderline quality signal on the cable connection and going pffline. The cable TV signal wasn’t having any issue in the house. It was only the Internet signal that was possibly causing a problem with this particular Motorola modem. I will not purchase another Motorola modem given this experience.

So far this has been a reliable upgrade and does not have the history of a faulty chipset like the one Spectrum sent out to me for free. I would rather have a working Internet connection than deal with support of a free modem. The free modem was not even on the Spectrum supported modem list and this Motorola is supported. This replaced a DOSCIS 3.0 modem that Spectrum said would no longer would work after Jan 1st 2022. My Internet is working in 2022 so this upgrade satisfied the Spectrum network requirement.

Installation was a breeze and so far consistent speeds on XFinity’s GIG plan. Another plus, I’ve yet to have to reboot it unlike our Netgear CM1000.

I mean… It’s a cable modem. Works with Xfinity/Comcast. I get pretty stupidly fast speeds. Buy this and save yourself the modem rental fee.

One of the best modems out there at the time of this review. Very easy to set up and achieves the advertised speeds with Xfinity.

Easy setup, works like a champ with Comcast. Provisioning is simple.

Gives full gigabit speed. Easy setup. Just upgraded from previous model. It's pricey, but few modems can give you the full speed.

My wife and I work from home and need reliable Internet. Our old modem was dropping the Internet connection several times a week. We found out our old modem was no longer supported by our Internet provider. We decided to try our Internet provider’s modem/router but were disappointed with the operation and WiFi coverage. We then purchased the Motorola modem, added our router and were up and running in a manor of minutes. We have not had any issues with our Internet dropping since installing the new Motorola modem. Great product!

Needed a new modem because my ISP was charging too much and found this great alternative, been using since and no complaints!

Needed an upgrade to support higher internet speeds. Plugged it in, called the change into my provider, and it works great.
