After trying the Nighthawk CM2000 for about 3 weeks I returned it and wanted to try out the Motorola MB8611. Listen up folks, coming from somebody that has a clue, my advice to you if you are in the market for a new D3.1 modem, this is what you want!! Wayyyyy better than the Nighthawk! You will NOT be disappointed! Runs very cool as well! Hook this bad boy up to the ASUS RT-AX86U and you will have the BEST modem/router combo money can but right now!

Needed a new modem and I always trusted Motorola. They lived up to their name with this purchase. I'm not sure what is inside or how they work, but it has worked flawlessly since buying.

Had the arris sb8200 it went out replaced it with the netgear cm1200 and it just wasn’t as fast as the arris sb8200. Returned the netgear cm1200 and got this and WOW! much faster. Getting 1.2 gigs on a gig plan. Never seen those speeds with the others.

Returned Xfinity device to stop paying monthly rental fee , this modem was on the top of my list . So far ( 6+ months later ) absolutely no issues. This is a modem only device, so really it should just work - and it does .

Compatible with Comcast/Xfinity, and I’m getting very good performance with it. Double than with my older modem. Set up took a bit as I had to restart a few times, then get tech help with Comcast, but maybe 45 minutes max. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

This device is awesome, I always preferred to buy instead of leaving and it saves money in the long run. I switched to xfnity Wireless for Internet cable and consumer report mention it’s being a goodbye so that is the reason I bought this device and I am pretty happy with it so far.

Setup took no time at all as a replacement for a different router. Finally getting the full 900mbps that I’m paying for with no droppage in connection.

This modem is fast and is compliant with Cox's equipment list here in Las Vegas. They won't even re-attach Docsis 3.0 modems that have been removed from a Cox account so you're going to want something like this!

This is top of the line Docis 3.0 modems that can support internet speeds of 1Gbps. I know many have switched to Fios, but for those who are on cable, this is the best modem to get if your speeds are upwards of 500Mbps.

Great Docsis 3.1 modem and compatible with Cox. Getting 900+Mbps on Gigablast. Also don't forget about BB trade-in/recycle program to get an additional 15% off when you bring in your old modem/router.

We had to upgrade our existing modem. We have not noticed a drastic speed difference. But, it does seem to run smoother, with less interference. Good solid choice, for intermediate download/upload rates.

Fast setup and finally getting my 1 gig internet speed in full. Using with Spectrum ISP. Nice having a power switch rather than in plugging to power cycle when needed. Good features with lights to know the status of the internet.

Motorola makes amazing modems. This is no exception. Now my internet speeds are 400Mbps so I am not using the full ability of this modem, but it is great to know when Sp*ctr*m makes their higher tiers actually affordable I can grow into it.

Great modem, I have xfinity and upgraded to a 900Mbps plan and it worked perfectly, before I had it I was using a combo modem/router that I was getting only 400Mbps. The pricing is also very good.

No issues here - works with Comcast and the Eero system. Previously purchase a mush expensive router/modem and it was a nightmare. This and the eero system worked perfectly.
