I used Motorola Surfboard modems for years and finally switched over to this style of modem. This modem is amazing and no more bottlenecking from the surfboard modem. I will never want to go back to an SB after using this modem for a few weeks now.

My ISP is MIDCO and as others have mentioned before, when you call in to register/activate your modem you must communicate it is a “Motorola MB8600” (the one on their approved list). And it works great!!!

Wanted a 2.5Gb cable modem to replace the 1Gb that was no longer supported by xfinity. Didn’t want to rent one from xfinity.

Works great and rock solid reliable, as long as you pair it with your own router such as my Google Nest WiFi. Far more cost effective then renting a router from Cox.

Works great! Picked it because it was on the list of modems mebtioned as compatible with XFinity. The only thing that bothers me a little is how light it is. It makes it hard to place if the coax has some memory in it.

Bought this to upgrade previous arris which was limited on download speed and started to seem slow. This one is capable of more than a gigabit speed, essentially future proofing for few years down the road.

Product works well. Supports 100+ Mbps. Solved the intermittent issue with my Arris cable modem. A little expensive for no wireless router features, but does the job.

My router has been working just great! I bought this and replaced my rented Xfinity router.

Purchased this because I was dropping cable and switching to streaming tv and wanted my own equipment. Works great, easy setup, and haven’t had to reset constantly like my old cable company supplied modem.

Excellent device and setup. Awesome throughout! Had to talk to tech support (issue was on Comcast side) and they were excellent. Told me exactly what to tell Comcast tech when they came onsite. It worked!

Since I need my own cable modem to save monthly rental fee, I read the review for this and decided to pick this one. It's easy to install. So far, it works great! :)

Works well on WoW Cable network. This is just a modem, it does not have a built in router. The cost of the modem will pay for itself in just over a year by avoiding rental fees ($14/month with WoW).

It’s ok and does everything it’s supposed to do. What else can one expect? Set up is simple and that alone is a big plus. So far the modem is stable.

Rating is cable modem purely on speed I give it 5 stars. HOWEVER, the cable Modem disconnects from the service randomly at least once a day! Actually happened when I was talking with the service provider about the issue!!!

much better than any of the comcast/xfinity provided crap; went from about 3-400mbps on their rented/issued hardware to well over gigabit speeds (~1098mbps on average)

Bought in hurry to replace modem lost in lightening strike. Good brand, has worked so dar. Easy push button power off/ power on / reset button on back.

Works well as expected no problems seems to be a quality product as generally Motorola products have been for me in the past.

No-fuss, no muss, that's this modem. Once you call Xfinity for activation, which is painless and straightforward, you're connected. Since I purchased this, I've experienced no problems.

Works as described. Fast. The light on the front which verifies the internet speed it is locked in at is blinking which means it is not measuring the speed. I ran a speed test though and I am receiving full speed .

Solid modem, speed has been great. Picked up the signal right after hurricane Ian pretty quickly, but that doesn't really have anything to do with the modem.
