Motorola - 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem

The old modem was several years old, I believe it was purchased around 2014. That is why I wanted to purchase the newer model. Easy to connect and quick to connect after calling cable company. It took longer to have the cable company setup the modem on my account than it did for me to connect the modem and for it to come online after added to my account.

Quality device with firmware problem.

Replaced with a DOCSIS 3.0 modem and no problems.

Be forewarned-if you have Rainier Connect, it no connect. Other than that, it turned on fine, kept trying to connect even when it couldn't, and it looks much better than the modems that my ISP actually has approved.

Excellent upgrade to my old NetGear modem

Once I bought this modem and I paired it with an eero mesh system. I'm getting speeds over 700Mbps, which is more like it. Has been working great so far. I'm glad I switched!
