Great inexpensive phone!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this is a great phone. It was easy to switch to with no complications. I bought it based on reviews and the fact it had 64GB of storage. There is a newer model, but this was the better choice based on storage and price. I have upgraded it to Android 8.1 (the same as most current models). I had to do lots of updates before it came through, but worth it. The apps come up quickly, no need to spend $500+ on a high end phone. Great bargain,

Wife got 128gb iPhone 7..I got
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from an iPhone 5c 8GB to this Moto G plus 5 phone.... Seems well made/ works well, I find answering the phone a bit challenging/ but I am getting used to it. Very nice screen and camera / and I like that the bar code and QR code reader is already built into the camera app/ used that on the second day! Easy! And of course price! (Another 60 off on the day I bought it)

Great phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great phone for the price. Has basically all the features of the much more expensive phones just No bloatware. I switched from Samsung s4 which finally died on me after 4 great years of service.

For the price it's a great phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this after my wife bought one. It has all the basic features that you need plus it's unlocked so you don't have all the cell provider's bloatware installed. I have the non-Amazon version so it just had the basic Google applications with lots of space for what I want. Only odd thing is that there is no indicator light on the front of the phone to indicate a notification so you have to touch or pickup the phone to see if there is anything that needs attention.

Great phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone because I did not want to pay $800-$1000 for a new iPhone. It has a metal body, a big screen, and has a quick response. Compared to my iPhone 6 this thing is blazing fast.

Great beginner smart phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got for my son. Great value for smart phone. Does everything he needs a phone to do. Went for highest level of memory, so phone could handle more and not need to be replaced/upgraded as soon.

Good Barebones Unlocked Phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far everything works. Fast, responsive, good sound quality. Excellent camera. Installation and activation of Tracfone SIM card was easy and relatively painless. Some minor annoyances: 1) power button is on the right side, just under the volume control buttons. When held in left hand, the buttons are where your fingers are, making it easy to inadvertently mute the phone or power off the phone. The buttons are soft, sensitive and protrude enough that it's easy to activate the buttons when taking the phone in and out of slip case. I quit using a slip case after accidentally hanging up on several people. Putting the phone in a hard case helps somewhat but does not completely solve the problem ; 2) Micro-SD slot is on back side of SIM tray, you have to eject the SIM tray to change out the SD chip. Would recommend putting in the highest capacity chip you can from the beginning to preclude having to change it out later; 3) Both good and bad - It doesn't come bundled with bunch of apps. Good- you don't have to cull out any useless apps that take up space. Bad - it comes with just the most basic of apps and that doesn't include a music player. You'll have to add most of the apps that you're used to that makes the phone really useful. 4) Again good and bad - The phone has decent size display, little bigger than iPhone 6. Downside, it's bigger and the phone won't fit in most of the popular slip cases, especially if fitted with protective cover. One more thing, after you activate the phone through your carrier, it will go through a number of software updates that require restarting the phone several times a time day for several days. You'll experience freeze-ups and your contact lists may not update or display correctly during this period. Be patient and it will work itself out after about six or seven days. Allow yourself some time and warn your friends your new phone may be a little quirky while this is going on.

Great value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only had mine for about a month, so I'm still in the breaking in..figuring it all out. This is my 1st unlocked phone and I was afraid that it would be too different. I do like not having all the bloat that comes loaded on the phones from the carriers. I do tend to use my phones pretty heavy and was hoping that the battery would get me further, but knowing that the battery is larger than most others, I'm guess I'm quite happy. It's a pretty great phone, overall, and not crazy expensive.

Great phone if you're on a budget
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone certainly looks and behaves like a premium phone that costs 3-4X more. I'm very impressed with the Moto g5 plus . It's fashionable, easy to use, responds quickly to commands, and well worth the price.

No compromise unlocked phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for an AWESOME phone without having to pay out the nose the MOTO G5 Plus is the answer. I purchased the 64MB version because it offered the 4GB of RAM that makes it a little speedier to all of my ridiculous requests. I had a MOTO G4 Plus that I loved however it met an untimely demise that facilitated the need for a new phone. I considered getting another G4 since I loved it so much but thought that since the G5 had been released I go with that instead. Even though it cost a little bit more it was worth it. The G5 is a little peppier than the G4 (and I thought that the G4 was pretty good!) and Motorola didn't load bloatware on it. The only thing I was a little disappointed about is that the screen size is a schoonch bit smaller on the G5 at 5.2" vs the G4 which was 5.5". I don't know why they went smaller but they did. It's not a huge issue for me but I am curious why Motorola did that. The G5 will not disappoint and is every bit as good as the higher end Samsung models. The only thing you'll compromise when buying a MOTO G5 is the price. You get so much more for so much less. As for battery life, I'm on social media quite a bit due to volunteer work I do and so my screen is on a lot and I use a lot of data. Even with that, I can go all day on one charge.

Excellent performance for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a solid phone. It costs less than half of the cost of an iPhone yet it delivers reliable service. The camera works well. It runs apps without a hitch good battery life. I use it without a case and despite this the only thing that broke was the glass over the camera lens. I was able to fix it myself for under 10 dollars. The microphone has too be cleaned every once in a while but that is true for iPhones as well. This is an excellent budget phone
