Not what I was expecting

Closing windows or going back kinda sucks. It was much easier with the old Moto Z Droid. They made something easy, complicated. Apps and other things like the camera open easier when you are not trying to open anything. Not at all happy with this phone

Sending messages is delayed. Reception is poor. Phone calls are poor quality. It suffered a short drop on the first day and shattered beyond repair. Definitely not a durable product. Cost more to repair than the phone did. Had it less than 24 hours and now it's nothing more than a paperweight.

We know how disappointing it is to crack the screen. While we do not cover physical damage, you may consider getting it repaired for a fee. You can find your repair options on this link https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/mcp/service/ and they include an extensive walk-in repair network that in many cases can provide same-day service, plus mail-in and some fix-it yourself options. You will find an interactive map that allows you to find a carry-in center convenient to you. We recommend contacting the repair center to ensure they are prepared for your specific issue. - Mike

Motorola Moto G Power Cell Phone

Got this phone mid February 2021 and had issues with this phone once purchased as it would not answer calls if someone was trying to call me. Phone would drop calls in the middle of conversations. This was terrible. Last it could take over a minute or more to connect to the person I was trying to call. Bought this phone from Best Buy as was on sale at 169.99 usual cost was 249.99. Not sure if this was a new phone or refurbish phone. Tried contacting Motorola but is impossible to get pass all the voice recordings to talk to a Live person. Now missed return date of March 3rd as kept thinking could resolve this issue but after two important calls and having two calls dropped today March 29 have given up on this phone.

This version isn't as easy to use.

The swipe up or right features are difficult to use. Swiping activates other features (like the assistant) instead of returning to the home page.

$45.00 Restock Fee?

The reviews are generally positive but has some flaws with the phone and may not be for me. I will pass on trying it out for what could be a restock fee. It was also purchased near closing time and was not activated. Hopefully my return will go well.

Not Verizon compatible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are a Verizon customer, don't get the BB Unlocked Moto G Power. The one we got wouldn't allow wifi calls. Earlier reviews had mentioned that there were 2 unlocked firmwares, Verizon, or AT&T compatible. Contacted Verizon, it wasn't compatible. Called Best Buy, they said must visit the store. Went to the store, they seemed unsure about the 2 versions, did some checking said they couldn't provide the Verizon version, suggested return. Since Verizon had found that the phone was using CDMA, which has no support after Jan 2021, new we had to return it, get the more expensive Moto G Power from Verizon.

Posted .Hi, Sorry to hear your device won't work with Verizon wifi calling. Unlocked devices like the Moto G Power do not have WiFi calling as an option.
This is per design due to the WiFi calling being a carrier-specific feature. In order to get Verizon Wifi calling feature, the device should be sold from Verizon. -Jess

Disappointing

When I I used the speaker phone it made loud sounds and blocked voices. This was my second phone. Also the battery didn't hold up for more than a day. I took it back for a Google 4XL. I love the phone and the speaker works well. Thank you.

Misrepresented!

Bought a recommended SIM card for it, and it didn't work. Not even with my hubby's Motorola SIM card! No way could I get into the phone as I had forgotten my Pin #. That was my fault, but it shouldn't have been locked! I am very disappointed, to say the very least. Hubby and I tried for HOURS on more than one day and got nowhere. No info online to try to fix the issue. Also, since I've had it for 3 weeks, I CANNOT return it. Other stores have 30 day return policies. Don't buy this phone if you want one that is unlocked! This was a nightmare!

calls get dropped, muted or paused

(doesn't happen with other phones in the house/anywhere on same plan). Call gets muted or paused --not even accidentally by hitting those buttons. (I wouldn't even be on that screen). My husband was ill in the hospital and ultimately passed away, and the calls were cutting off while talking to doctors. Period to return to BestBuy is over. (purchased phone Oct 4).
