This phone does not work with Boost Mobile

I pre ordered this phone and couldn't wait to get it. Once I got it I bluetooth my information from my previous Boost mobile phone to my new Moto G Power that I waited so long to get. I took my time and researched the perfect phone. I placed my sim card in and got an error message saying sim card is locked. Called Boost mobile and was told to buy a bring your own sim card kit so I did. They check all 4 sim cards and none was compatible. After about 3 hours of trying and researching my problem they determined that Boost Mobile do not have any sim cards that's compatible to this phone. I was very disappointed because I had waited so long and I needed a new phone. I wanted Boost to make this phone work for me, but they couldn't. I had to return this phone to Best Buy.

This phone was decent at the beginning. It has fewer control options than the moto G6. 5 months later the audio completely stopped working today, and my calls were unable to be connected. I would not recommend this phone.

Though the price of this phone was within my budget, I have not been altogether pleased with the function. Oftentimes it drops calls; will not ring when an incoming call comes in. It does have a nice screen .

    Horrible Google Duo Echo Issues

I purchased two brand new Motorola G Power phones several week's ago. Both of these phones introduce a horrible echo for users connecting to these phones via Google Duo. The echo does not exist for regular speakerphone calls. It only happens with Google Duo. I also noticed that if you update Google Duo to the latest version, the audio for both parties is very choppy and breaks up. I had to actually uninstall the updates and operate with the base version that comes with the phone. The problem is also there when the case is removed.

    Unreal at $229!

I don't write reviews. I've had this phone for a few days but have owned the Moto G2 and the G5S Plus, so this is my 3rd Moto G and I'm blown away. I wanted to get the Pixel 4A but it takes a few weeks to receive and I need a phone now so I got the G power. Love it! To me a phone should work as a phone first and nail the basics. Motorola has done that. Bravo! It has every LTE band for great signal, loud speakers, good call quality and everything else is smooth and zippy. Camera is fine, screen is big and battery is great. Not any real tradeoffs for the average user needing a reliable phone. It could be a little lighter and come with a notification light, but at $229 it's a gift from China. I want to keep it till 5G is built up and then I'll think about a 5G capable phone. Nothing beats it for the money. No need to think. Just get it. Much love to Motorola for making Apple and Samsung flagships look ridiculous!

Horrible phone!!! I had older version of Motorola for 5 years, it was $89 brand new and it was taking much better pictures than this one for $249! Another issue I have that I don't receive all text messages from people and this is not acceptable! I called the Motorola and they had no idea how to fix it and they hang up on me! This phone is complete waste of money. Don't buy it.

It doesn't have NFC capability! The only reason I bought a new phone was for the nfc to activate charging station for my electric car. The salesman assured me it had nfc-- It doesn't! Now the phone won't work. I had bought a 2yr geek squad extended warranty; however, they told me the warranty only applies once motorola's one yr warranty is up. Now I'm stuck dealing with Motorola getting it fixed--a battery problem they told me.

I bought this for my daughter who was here on a visit from out of state. She had a problem with it not being able to talk without being on speaker. She took it to Best Buy and they couldn’t figure it out so contacted the company and has to send it in. She is unable to do that because she needs a phone at all times.

I bought this phone my 1 year old g6 died after 1 year And 10 day it died. I bought the extended warranty which didn't cover the repairs. My new g7 play I've had couple weeks suck the Android software has no selection buttons on the bottom to go back or go forward while using any app on phone. Now I'm stuck with this phone. I'm not happy with this purchase and I can't take it back.
