    Great phone with one caveate

If your phone service is CDMA, you will not be able to pop in the SIM from another phone and have it work. CDMA SIMs are locked to the phone they were made for. I use Hello Mobile which piggybacks on Sprint and I had to order a new SIM which may take a week to arrive. Other than that, this is a fantastic phone for the money. It will hook up to AC wireless which is about double the speed of N. I'm getting download speeds through Wi-Fi double those of my old phone. The performance is speedy and the cameras are very good. The battery life is incredible and it recharges very fast.

Great phone at a great price

I am coming from an iPhone 11, I love Apple products but don't feel the price is always justified. I've had other Moto G products in the past and they are well made. The G Power intrigued me cause of the massive battery and having Android 10. The phone is quite snappy due to the Snapdragon processor and 4gb of RAM. The speakers are also quite good, yes even dual (stereo). The phone is big, 6.4 inch screen, but there isn't a silly notch and the hole punch camera isn't noticeable to me cause most apps block that part of the screen. The battery life is simply amazing, I've used it all day and still at 54%, it also charges quickly due to it being USB-C. For $250 I'm not sure I could find a better deal for the quality this phone has.

Pro: it's cheap, big screen, sturdy, easy to use (it's an android, duh) and some of motorola's custom quirks namely the gestures for fleshlight and camera is surprisingly very intuitive and helpful. Excellent battery life, holy s*** can this thing go, with power saver mode turned on I went 2 days without charging it. Cons: big and heavy, but after 1-2 weeks of use your hands get used to it. The LCD screen isn't as dynamic but it's what you get with a cheap LCD.

What I like about this phone is the battery life it is the best out there. Another thing I like about it is the storage it may not be the best but is good for the value. But what I dislike about the phone is that it is not waterproof and has no nfc.

    Great Value

I purchased this phone as a backup for my iPhone 6 plus which recently died. Best Buy had a sale on this phone for $129.99 with same day activation for the 32 gig model. Battery life great for what I use it for, calls and some social media apps. The camera is a little bit finicky but that was ok for me. Nice screen size 6.2 inches. Great performance, apps run well. If you are looking for a backup or budget phone this is the one. Don't waste your money on an iPhone SE, $399.00 and a 4.7 inch screen; where's the value?

I have just purchased this phone for my son as an upgrade to his very first phone. This has everything you can ask for in a $250 phone. I'm not too worried if something might happen to it. Overall this is a great looking reliable phone that feels premium at a budget cost. Surprisingly nice looking screen as well.

    Moto G Power Review

Great phone . . . sturdy, great battery life. Fast processing! Great camera and network range. The only downside so far is the fingerprint feature is not consistent. Otherwise though, love it. The Moto Z Play had that feature down pat and has wi-fi calling which this phone doesn't -- but it's better range makes it not necessary for us.

It's a good phone for the price. It lasts 2 days with light usage and it is a little heavy but I don't mind. Takes ok photos in good light settings. There is no wireless charging or nfc but I don't use that anyway. I like the feel to this phone the display is smooth and I love the Moto actions.

I got this when my old phone broke off of warranty, and it has been amazing so far. I would like the performance to be a little bit better, but so far has done the job for what I need it to do. It has amazing speakers, so the Tik Tok experience is nice.

    Verizon Users Beware!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I bought this unlocked Moto G Power at Best Buy because it was cheaper than on the Verizon site. BUT there are certain features which you can not use unless you buy it at Verizon. The first is Visual Voicemail. You won't have access to it on this unlocked phone, and will have to dial *86 to retrieve your voicemails. The second is Wifi calling. If you ever use Wifi calling and you are on Verizon, DON'T BUY this phone--doesn't have it. Sadly, it'll probably cost me the $45 re-stocking fee to return. I got the Verizon version already, and everything works just right. P.S. Otherwise, I like this phone model and Motorola phones in general. It is the only brand of smartphone I have ever had.

    Great model,

No problems with it. Just to quickly compare it to the new G Power 2021 model, the main points to note is that this actually has better a video recording, front video recording capabilities, AND a better screen that does 1080 (the new 2021 model only does 720). While the 2021 seems to have a FAR better main camera for pictures with more 3x more MP. i've had it since around November 2020, so around half a year and the only issue i have ever had is that when i left a music app open, it drained the battery quickly although it was paused. I deleted the app and got a new one, and the problem did not happen again, so i assume it was just the app.

    Prefered over a Samsung

I've had this phone for several months now, and I still love it. It's an excellent phone for the price. The screen is strong, it hasn't broken yet after all the times I've dropped it. My previous phone was a Samsung Galaxy S20+, and I prefer this over that $1200 phone. The fingerprint reader is far superior. I'm a mechanic, so it's not uncommon for me to have grease and dirt on my hands, and 90% of the time it reads my finger.
