Good for the price range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Moto G5 Plus died so I needed to replace it with another but phones are so expensive and they only last about 3 years. I decided to get this Moto G Power. I don't believe it's as good as my Moto G5 plus but for now it will do. The problem I have is sometimes while talking to someone it will start to crackle and makes it hard to understand what the other person is saying and I hate to have to say "can you repeat that"? I guess I'm good for another 3 years hopefully longer.

800 less than My note9, ?????
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not quite sure why my Note9 cost over $800 more. I have both right now, and the only advantage the Note9 has is that I am used to working Samsung phone layouts and semantics. I'll get over it in time.

Entirely too basic
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched, read reviews, decided to purchase, and wish I hadn't. This phone lacks basic functions that should be available on any device made in the past 10 years. There are no settings for the app drawer and no way to put the apps in custom order. There's no way to put apps in folders except for on the home screen, which means all of your apps have to be there to be organized. You must tap the screen before being able to swipe it to unlock it. It shows the entire conversion thread on the messaging drop down, so you can't see what you're typing if you respond to the last message. At setup, after entering my phone number, it randomly chose a Google account to add, rather than showing every account associated with that number and allowing me to choose the correct one. I sold phones for 15 years and have operated smart phones costing $100 or less which had all of these features. This is beyond disappointing. I won't be surprised if the battery doesn't last as long as the claims, either.

Not recommended for price
Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty disappointed in this phone. My old one was so much better. Camera sucks. No notification light. Volume for rings and notification vary. I'd return it if not for the ridiculous $50 restocking policy. Battery life is good though

Wi Fi calling will only work for TMobile
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in an area with poor cell service and depend on wifi calling. After buying this phone, I couldn't find the option to turn on wifi calling. After several hours working with Verizon and then talking to a motorola support representative, I was told that this phone only supports wi fi calling for T Mobile. I wouldn't have purchased it had I known that. It should be made clear in the phone features that this is the case. If you have T Mobile or don't care about wifi calling, I guess it's fine.

Posted .Hi Charles, Sorry to hear it didn't work with Verizon wifi calling. Unlocked phones sold outside Verizon will not really work with their Wifi calling as Wifi calling of Verizon only works with those phones sold through them. This phone is wifi calling capable phone however, it is carrier-dependent and would have to check with their carrier to confirm if they support it. -Jess

run don't walk from this phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried and tried to get the issues with this phone resolved with Motorola, but they are the worst! they made me send them my new phone for a 'replacement' - and sent me a used phone back and didn't tell me it would be used. The replacement phone has the same issues. The phone is glitchy. The photo gallery blinks; i get a very loud 'BEEP' randomly during phone calls that gets so bad i have to hang up. Very disruptive during work calls to say the least! The list goes on and on. Now i am switching back to samsung. Also, no help from Best buy - so i'll be buying me new phone elsewhere. What a hassel.

Horrible phone and horrible customer support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is a disaster. The network drops for no reason, the call quality is horrible. The screen freezes constantly. I could go on and on about how bad this phone is but I have better things to do. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. Motorola does not stand behind this product and told me after only having the phone one month that I cannot return it for a refund, and the refund window is only 14 DAYS ! Never buying another Moto phone again in my life and I have had them since 2006.

Horrible Screen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received in mail from best buy last night. The screen is flat, lifeless, low color saturation ,low contrast, it couldn't be any duller unless it was black and white. The pictures from the camera seemed to have digital artifacts around the edges of the picture subject. Another problem is that Visible Wireless would not accept the IMEI to bring phone to service. But I'm returning it based on the horrible screen.

Not even a little bit water resistant
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the phone slightly wet, inside a 'waterproof' pocket that had my iPhone 7 and this Moto G Power. The iPhone - no problems, Moto G -Dead, will no longer turn on, only flash a light when I try to charge it. This is my second Moto phone .. but not happy with the practicality of it if you just get it damp and it dies. I do not recommend it.
