Customers are saying

Customers commend the N300 Router with DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem for its ease of use, strong performance, and affordable price. Many appreciate the compatibility with major internet providers and the generally reliable setup process. However, some users report occasional WiFi connectivity issues and inconsistent signal strength in certain areas. The product's range and connection stability appear to be the main points of concern for some customers.

Easy setup out of the box, compliant with most cable companies. Increased my range and speed dramatically. 4 Ethernet ports for cable connections is a great plus!

Didn't want to pay a monthly fee to internet provider for a modem. Salesman recommended this product. Easy to set up with no problems since mid June.

    Great new modem and router

I had to replace my cable modem and Wi-Fi router. Instead of purchasing separate units, I bought the combined MG7310 with 4 Ethernet ports. Brought it home, connected my laptop, set the device and Wi-Fi login, and everything started working in ten minutes. Not only that, the modem is running much faster than the old one. I could not be happier.

Getting this setup was about as easy as it comes. I'm getting surprisingly fast Wi-Fi speeds with it and amazing hard wired speeds.

Good replacement for about 3 days

I bought this modem/wireless router combo hoping that I wouldn't have to continue paying Comcast's $10/month fee. It worked well for the first three days or so, but then I had to reset the box almost everyday thereafter to get a good signal. Wi-fi signal dropped constantly and I will be exchanging for another product. Be wary of the price, as you get what you pay for. Pony up the extra and get an Arris product.

Love the modem , don't need to pay Comcast monthly rental but, before I had my wireless IP connections come up as 10.0.0.--, now they come up as 192.168.0.-- ! Because of this I cannot access the settings of my IP camera to make changes. I tried accessing by typing in the ip number as I used to but just get a web page telling me that this is a private IP ! How do I change it ?

The router/modem combo was ok... just ok. I returned it because I was not achieving the speeds that I am paying my ISP for. My connection kept dropping, too. I decided to go with a non-combo set up. Now my speeds are back to normal.

After a very long setup with both TWC and Motorola (it's actually a Zoom product) techsupport and losing WiFi twice, was told today by Motorola/Zoom that this model is defective and was advised to return it in exchange for another Zoom model modem/router combo.

I purchase this modem to avoid a monthly payment with the cable company and it has worked out great. No monthly payments, long wifi range. Only have had to reset it once.

Buy if you want a slow connection

I decided today was the day to buy a new wireless modem after sitting down and realizing TWC had gotten me for 500+ in rental fees over the past 4 years for using there modem. I settled with this one on a quick whim. That was my first mistake. TWC's modem was actually perfect. Never disconnected and did its job well. Now I find this one to drop wifi connection even though I'm currently within arms reach from the modem. I can't imagine what it will do if I'm on the opposite end of the house. I plan on returning this tomorrow. Only buy if you want a slower internet and you like wasting gas in your car.

Ping Test is Horrible / Needs Rebooting A Lot

I have to reboot this modem/router maybe 4 times a day because it drops the speed often. I cannot watch TV online because it drops the speed and signal every 30 minutes. It is annoying and I will return it tomorrow. I didn't read the reviews before buying it because it is a Moto product, but now I will read all the reviews before buying my next one regardless of the brand name.
