Way better than Amazon!

I’m always hesitant about these types of memberships, but this one pays for itself after the first purchase and was a no brainer. My only regret is I wish I would have gotten it sooner.

Great Purchase

The associates were excellent, all were helpful, honest, friendly and polite. Would be the first people we call with any service needs or issues!

Instead of confirming they do didn't have that part in any of their stores he handled me a powered serial port that he said should take care of my needs. It did not. He said I could return the part if it didn't work, and when I did see him to let him know, he got very indifferent and stuffy about the whole issue. Thanks for nothing and two wasted trips from Guthrie to that store location (Quail Springs).

Without the promotion I would have never purchased the membership. I think that the typical 2 week return policy of this store is offensive compared to competitors and having to purchase a membership to increase the return window takes advantage of customers. I neeeever use Geek Squad, in my location its a disappointment but I am tech savvy and do computer builds and electronic stuff on my own. Furthermore, I am a member of another club that, for example, doubles the manufacturers warranty so for a notebook I get a two year warranty instead of just one. Why would I settle for 2 or 4 weeks? Absurd. Gave 5 stars since it didnt cost me money and I've saved $7 on a purchase so far. Maybe if you buy a lot of BB stuff and like GS its a win but hard for me to recommend based on my use. I do most of my purchases at BB via Deal of the Day and buy things I dont plan on returning.

$50 certificate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Bought fryer a month ago and I used the $50 certificate and I returned the same day like after 9 minutes, the customer service told me the $50 certificate will return to my account in 15 days and that cheated with the customer service said on 25th will return to the account but didn’t. Called back the customer service and asked me why you returned it and told her was not the right fryer my wife wanted and told her you should asked me the reason after that she said you can’t get $50 certificate because it’s one time use. Why she didn’t say that the first time only when I asked her you should asked me the reason for returning the fryer. They two customer service did not tell me that?

Wasn't able to use the promotional certificate.

My only negative is that it came with a $50 promotion certificate that was emailed to me. Unfortunately, it went into my junk email box and I didn't see it until after it expired. I stopped into the store and was told to call customer service and they would reissue the certificate. When I called the phone number they gave me, I was told they wouldn't reissue it so now I'm out the $50. I wish they would have just given a gift card at the time of purchase instead of emailing it a week later.

Purchase to Install

I found a very knowledgeable sales person who helped me select the right TV and sound bar and mounting bracket. I left there smiling When the geek squad came, it was a complicated amount, but they had absolutely no problems. The two of them were knowledgeable and polite and fast. They stay to set up the TV and subwoofer. I highly recommend them.

I still think you should earn certificates with the membership and shouldnt have to have a best buy credit card for that.

I've Saved over $150 right away on a new monitor, which already paid for the membership. Even smaller stuff like headphones and smart home gear had surprise discounts and the free 2-day shipping with no minimum has been super convenient. The 60-day return window makes me feel way more relaxed when buying tech. If this is what one month looks like, I’m excited to see how much I save this year

They asked me if I was a plus member, I was not, but interested. As they told me about it, I purchased it on the spot, and to my astonishment the priced reduced over a $100 just for being a member. Why not? Should have had membership forever, won't happen again. I love the member deals

Best buy 1 Year plus membership scam

The Salesman practically guaranteed that this Laptop would be even cheaper on Black Friday. The Salesman said, if I purchased the Best Buy Plus 1 Year membership for $49.99 I would be reimbursed for the cheaper Black Friday price. The price for this same computer was $329.99 on Black Friday, it was $10.00 more than what I paid over 1 month earlier. I feel that I got scammed buying the 1 Year membership. I would not have purchased the 1 Year membership if the salesman said it would be cheaper on Black Friday. I'm thinking the salesman gets commission pushing these memberships. Just a heads up for people buying the memberships.

I hope in the future regain the membership status and also hope to find better options and a cheaper membership

I loved it all and bought the membership and all electronics for my new home include a PS5 slim digital edition at 499 which is now 399 and this membership gets me back a 100 bucks as price dropped with in 60 days of my purchase Best Buy is Love !!
