    Tricked into a membership I have little use for

    Pretty much got duped into buying this membership. I was buying a new phone and the team member told me that the purchase came with a free trial of My Best Buy Plus, so I said great, I'll try it out. Upon reviewing my receipt I notice that I had indeed been charged for the membership. I returned to the store a few days later and went to customer service to try and have the charge removed, but was told they did not handle the membership there and game me a sheet with a number to call. Naturally, I misplaced the sheet. As for the membership, as best as I can tell is it basically unlocks a whole lot of sale emails, which caused me to adjust my email settings, so at this point I have essentially received zero value for the membership. From what I saw before adjusting my email settings, this definitely does not seem to be much benefit for a casual shopper like me. Perhaps it would have more use for a frequent Best Buy shopper. Right now, I'm fairly sour on the whole experience so I do not foresee any uptick in purchases from Best Buy in the future.

    My Best Buy Plus Membership is worth it!!!

    I’ve enjoyed the perks of having the My Best Buy Plus membership! It didn’t cost me anything to get a screen protector put on an iPad. I got a $50 December rewards bonus for spending $500 in October on top of the usual rewards points for the large purchase, AND I had early access and additional access to Black Friday deals along with other deals not offered to everyone else, and the deals didn’t stop with Black Friday- they keep coming! Great prices on lots of tech! I’ve really enjoyed my Plus Membership. It’s definitely been worth it!

    I had to down grade my membership due to budgeting to go back to school but I believe just having any type of subscription is helpful when your always using your computer you are subjecting yourself to ware and tear on your devices.

    I recently had an exceptional experience with the service team. They promptly answered my questions and assisted me in selecting the color I wanted.     First TV in several years. I was in the market after my tv from 2014 finally stopped working. I had Best Buy deliver and install. Initially I thought I may be making a mistake going from a 50 inch to a 98 inch TV , but it is perfect. My wife even likes it !!! Great job on install and love the features and picture quality.

    I believe the membership is probably a great value for some, but I'm not using it enough to make a difference. I have only made 1 or 2 purchases so far. I would still recommend it to friends, but would ask them how often they make purchases.

    I don't like that Best Buy locked the benefits you used to get from the free memberships behind a paid service. I liked the old system that rewarded you with better benefits depending on the amount you purchased that year and didn't ask you to consider spending an extra $50 to get a particular deal. Though the deals I've gotten up to this point have technically recouped my cost, I feel a lot of them would have been available anyway under the previous system that did not require a paid membership. Still, I'm glad Best Buy finally decoupled the tech support/warranty stuff into a higher tier plan and made one available for someone just interested in getting better deals and faster shipping.

    It’s sucks and it’s useful to be a member . I bought some stuff then Best Buy sent me a reward certificate and I used it to buy more items . But I had to return it cos I bought the wrong item . And my reward certificate is gone for long ! They told me it’s promotional and can’t be used again . Well they never sent me a warning with the certificate and even worse I returned this product to the Best Buy store and the manager lady confirmed that my reward certificate would be retuned to my Best Buy account . A few days later when I called the customer service then they told me it’s not returnable ! What kind of customer support is that ! Either it should have warned me with the certificate or the manager shouldn’t have guarented that I would get my reward back ! I will cancel my membership just because of this poor management .
