Thank goodness I signed up for this membership since I've had to return 3 refrigerators and 3 washers since May 13. It is now June 21 and BB is delivering, yet, another washer. If I hadn't purchased this membership I'd have been stuck with products that didn't work correctly right out of the gate. Returning them hasn't been an issue. Just a huge pain in the butt. So, membership great, products suck.

Your previous rewards program that was free gave me an opportunity to earn discounts for future purchases. This new program extends return times, offers some discounts randomly for products, and free shipping. I live 6 miles from two different Best Buys and it's not often you have a product on sale that I want/need. I don't know that it's worth it for me. The only reason I purchased it this year is because I happened to be purchasing 5 laptops that were all part of your discount, so the cost of the membership was offset against the savings on the laptops. It's unusual to spend that much for me, so I would have to be purchasing something to offset the cost when this renews this year.

So far the membership has been a really good value. I enjoy the extended return policy, as well as the money-saving discounts on products.

I am not sure because the salesman misquoted the total price including delivery and suggested signing up for the membership. He said after a year we could cancel it when the send an email to renew it. I never saw the email.
