I had been a Platinum member for years. I was screwed over when you flipped to this paid scheme. I needed a price adjustment and fell out of the window when the paid scheme kicked in. As a result, I am spending much less at Best Buy than in previous years. But, at least you are getting your annual fee upfront. Guess that is all that matters.

Honestly not really impressed with the sales/“member pricing”, or overall satisfaction of the membership… there’s really no difference between being a walk in customer or a Best Buy plus member… I went in to purchase 5.5 cu ft Samsung smart washer and 7.4 cu ft Samsung smart dryer which came out to the tune of $1,890.00 for the set… I continued to shop around as I felt that was a very high price for being “on sale” and to my surprise I found the same set at Home Depot for $1,490.00 and they waived the delivery fee for us as well. Super disappointed because I’ve always been loyal to Best Buy and finally decided to go with a membership but much to my surprise it’s not worth the yearly cost. They just inflate the original price to act like their sale price isint original market value…I get all my 4KUHD’s from Best Buy.. I’ve purchased the 55” Samsung 8 series and 65” Samsung NEO QLED and I’m in the market for a 83” Samsung OLED S90B and I’ll be shopping around this time to purchase elsewhere. I will not renew my Best Buy membership and don’t recommend it to anyone either.

This membership is a plus! You get so many deals too and save some money. Geek squad- delivery ~ it covers so many things. Assemble your product if needed. Better to have everything covered for a small amount of money.

This membership is a great way to save on technology and protect it with extended warranties.

I bought the membership because I was told that I could get a price match within 60 days of purchase. The sales guy gave me his business card. 20 days later my items went on sale. I tried to call the local store via the number on the business card, but it always routes you to the corporate customer service. After being on hold for 20 minutes and waiting for “manager approval” they said that they approved my $100 price match and it would go through in 10 business days. After 12 business days nothing had been credited to my card. I called back and went through another session of corporate customer service where I was on hold for a long time and they finally promised it was going through this time within another 10 business days. Another 12 days goes by and no credit. Finally I went into the store and the manager helped me. He looked up my account in the system and said that no such price match had ever been initiated for me. He did the price match right there for me in the store. TL;DR; the corporate customer service appears to give the runaround when you find a good price match. Don’t waste your time with them. If I didn’t bother to follow through in person they would have made that $100. Only a determined person will get the price match.

This membership has saved me a lot cash. Also, the customer service for it has been great. Also, to be notified of upcoming "member" sales has been great. With about 3 purchases, the savings had made the membership pay for itself. I will definitely renew.

My Best Buy plus membership was a great investment

This membership is a great benefit to get the best prices and guarantees.

So far i like the extra benefits that this gets you and i like thay i getbextra time to return things even if the price is lower.

Joined just for the discount on the items I was purchasing. The cashier gave me the tip that if I purchased the membership for 49.99 that I would save $100 off my purchase. Basically saving me $50 off my purchase total. Also she said that I could cancel anytime and not be charged the annual renewal fee. The discount is the only reason I signed up and will be cancelling before the annual renewal as I don't see any benefit of it for me.

Overall a good value. Some additional savings off the advertised price is always a welcome. I would recommend.
