I had the membership for a year, but the savings didn’t even cover the membership fee. I ended up canceling at the end of the first year. While there were occasional member-only discounts, they weren’t frequent enough to make it worthwhile.

Still learning the benefits and it gave peace of mind to have longer to return a tv if it developed problems after 30 days. If products purchased go on sale, you can get that difference back. Also got a $75 cash back and bought some cool stuff

I feel like this is just another money grab, got a great deal on a TV and was explained that if this tv goes down in price within 90 days I would get the difference back and it would pay for itself. Checked every day and even though that the Best Buy employee pretty much guaranteed the tv would drop in price, but no such thing happened. I would honestly pass on this.

Been waiting for a tiered membership for awhile. Gamestops model worked great for my needs and now this can extend to my movie shopping

Contemplated at first just like anybody else would. What I did not expect was the insane amount in savings I had instantly at checkout just by benefiting myself with also an additional 60 days of return, thanks to the membership. If saving big is not for you, then feel free to disregard this :)

This membership has loads of value if you purchase from Best Buy a lot, or even if you make big purchases at Best Buy. The workers at Best Buy are always nice and friendly also which is a plus!

Initially I made the choice to go with plus but upgraded to a higher protection plan (total) as I feel it is a better value and gives me piece of mind knowing my current and future purchases will be protected. You cannot purchase a protection plan for the single device for the price of best buy's plans

The membership is a good value when purchasing products from Best Buy. The perks provide no hassle return should I decide on a different product.

Our aim was to purchase a new dish washer. Initially, there was no issue. Fast , courteous service and the representative assured us it was to be delivered in three days. We paid for haul-off of the old machine as well, but it seems the pricing for the total essentially required us to "join" a Best buy membership for $50,yr. Well, within a few days we were informed by "someone in the Best Buy chain" that in fact the machine was NOT available nor would it be for pretty much a month. Of course, it is impossible to call the store we made the purchase at and speak directly to the rep we had worked with. One is forced to call some Best Buy center, and while the folks there are friendly, it just seems as if the entire chain of custody is missing in terms of communication. We found the exact machine we wanted at an appliance dealer in Indianapolis, including free delivery and for less cost overall, when the membership and other add-ons are accounted for. Our main issue is that there seems a significant disconnect between the store-level sales reps and the supply chain of command. In addition, we aren't thrilled by the little additional charge items that apparently are part of the sales transaction. BOttom line: we cancelled the entire order, which thankfully went through with out a problem.

Its great to have. Not sure how often i will use . Wish the employee would have explained it better.
