Good for not techy kids
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband and I had high hopes for this for our 6yr old. He had a normal tablet and we got this to replace it. It's very slow and glitchy! He hasn't used it since right after Christmas when he got it. The bumper is a joke and they don't make any others for it. All in all for a child that doesn't ha e any experience with a tablet this would probably be ok. I wish I would've returned it because now we're stuck with a nabi paperweight and my son uses my extra galaxy tab 3.

Great for kids
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second nabi product I have bought and the dream nabi is way better than the nabi 2. It's also cheaper. The screen is bigger and you can volume is much louder. My son loves watching on his nabi where ever we go. Keeps him occupied. Lots of games, learning tools, and movies!

7 gb of storage, nabi states "known for trouble"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously RAVED about Nabi as we had a Nabi 2 and it was a lifesaver! (We spend a lot of time in the Hospital) We recently received the dream tab as a replacement. (Long story short, my kid broke the charger and we lucked out with an upgrade from it) it is misleading in the 16 gb department. Yes it HAS 16 gb BUT you can only USE 7 gb, actually less because nothing will work if you get too close to using it all. According to Nabi cares, 9 gb, yes 9 gb, is used for the dream works apps (animation, drawing) that you CANNOT delete. It does not even show these in the storage in settings. So more than half of your storage is taken before you even set it up! Also according to Nabi Cares, they are known to have MANY issues! In over a year with the nabi 2 I had 0 issues. In the 3 days I have owned the dream tab I have had 5! Nabi Cares also informed me if you have 1 issue with the dream tab, it will be a never ending battle as the problems never fully get fixed. It is very upsetting because in the rare instances it works, it's pretty cool. Helpful hint, when you have issues, which you most likely will, press and hold the vol + and power button when the nabi is off. Once the android logo comes up, you can let go. You'll either have to do a recovery or complete factory reset. Very time consuming. Good luck and hope your experience is better than ours!

Awesome Tablet for Kids
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your looking for a tablet for your kids that is affordable, reliable, and kid friendly this is for you. I would say the major pros are the educational apps and parent mode. Its nice to control what your child can access on the nabi.

It might be great if you can find one that works!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered online from BB and received in a short amount of time (thanks best buy!) That Nabi never would charge . So I took it back and exchanged. I got this one to go to the update page but then a wi-fi detection error keeps popping up. This is a problem with the nabi and nabi is aware of it. The update is supposed to fix it but I can't get the update to finish. I contacted Nabi on facebook as well as by phone and the final verdict was to return this one and try again. I'm going to try one more time and then I'm DONE!

nabi-DreamTab port and charger problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tablets for both my 6 year olds, and twice I had to exchange. The tablets work great when the charger port and charger work. We are very upset that we have had to replace two tablets and three chargers. They are back to using their old (3 year old) tablets which are a bit out dated but still intact so no its not something that they are doing wrong just poor quality or poorly put together.

mixed reviews
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 2 of these one for my 11 year old and it occasionally freezes up. The one for my 8 yr old has been replaced 3 times in 6 months and I need to take the newest one back again. I have spent enough in replacement fees to get him an adult tablet If you get this definitely get the replacement plan, although you only need to Cover it for one year as you won't make it to the 2 year mark. Also it has a proprietary charger which is always sold out on the Nabi website so be gentle with your charging cord. You can't get accessories in store for these either.

Very bad performance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my daughter and we all got very exited to open it and use it, only to find this is waaaaay to slow, lags a lot and don't make her want to use it. so my daughter and I are very frustrated. I searched online and since it has an intel chip android doesn't run good at all, but there could be a way to make it work a little bit faster changing the runtime from dalvik to Art but the option is not available, or update it to android 5 wich depends on nabi (I don't think is going to be any soon). so if you ever try to buy this, better get a nexus 7 or alike and tune it for kids, CLIFF notes: don't spend the money on this tablet. I'm from mexico so no possible way to return this brick

Love this tablet!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm so happy with the Nabi Dreamtab. We purchased a Cubby Sprout tablet for our daughter at toys r us,it was a present for Christmas,it stopped working 2 times in less than 6 months,so I decided to return it to the store and buy a Dreamtab. The quality is much better than the cubby, everything is awesome, good camera, comes with the bumper that it's super soft,my daughter loves the pen,it's fast and it doesn't looks cheap. I can't be more happy with this tablet.

Subpar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I must have used a different product than all of the positive reviewers. This tablet is extremely slow when accessing certain apps..... My daughter kept looking up at me trying to hand it back saying "daddy?". My daughter, although three years old, realizes subpar performance when recognized. We tried the Nabi 2.0, then the Dreamwork's Nabi with both of them performing poorly. I really wanted it to work because of the cute interface and durability of the product. It did have a fairly easy interface but it would tend to lag as well. We ended up returning both tablets back after it was determined they weren't for us. Best buy has a great return policy by the way. We ended up purchasing the Samsung kids tablet and have been very pleased.

Not so great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this tablet today and it wouldn't connect to my internet. I got a connection error message while I was setting it up saying "your wifi works, but would not connect with us." I'm sorry but I'm sending this thing back. My son is so upset because he's been looking forward to his new tablet. I could not get passed the connection message and I reset it numerous times.

Save your money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the worst purchase I have made in years. Navigation of the Nabi is awful, and the battery never lasts long. We will play on it for an hour or two and then put it up, and later that day it will be dead. It seems that every time we go to use it, it needs to be charged. The charger takes some fiddling to get it in the port. We have had it over a year, and I still haven't figured out the organization of the apps. Just this morning, I can't even get the Nabi to load up. I wish I would have saved the money on this and purchased a kindle fire or iPad mini instead.Until I bite the bullet and purchase a different tablet, our kids will be taking over our iPhones.
