Nostalgic with Performance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this Nacon Revolution X Unlimited controller because of the Xbox 360 nostalgia. I think Nacon executed this very well so you get all the looks of the older controller with modern performance. The mouse click buttons are very responsive. I liked the variable triggers for racing and shooting games. The display is pretty handy but not really necessary. This controller has a lot of customizations. It comes with a durable case to hold all the joystick pieces and weights. I think the weight is perfect for me but you can add weights to the handles to make it heavier. It's comfortable in the hands and has good grips. I played Forza Horizon 5, Mortal Kombat, Madden, and Halo on the Xbox Series X. It performed well with those games and connected seamlessly. I played Destiny 2 on PC and it was very smooth. I couldn't get the gyro mode to work on the PC but I'm not sure it's something I would use anyways. The battery life has been excellent. Nacon did a great job making a sturdy case that holds everything including the charging stand. I also like that it has a nice charging stand. Overall this is a great package and great performance. I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a nostalgic upgraded controller.

Elite Level. Great to Use. Lots of Customization.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To sum up my thoughts on this controller in one sentence, I think as a whole it is excellent in nearly every way. It looks good, is built well, and delivers performance-wise. Full stop. To expand on those thoughts, the build is solid, the controller is a good weight out of the box, it just “feels good in the hand,” and they include a really nice set of accessories. More or less everything you may need or want. Dock, case, cable, storage, extra sticks, pads, rings, and weights. It is nice to see. Further, it is designed well, with quality materials and thought clearly put into it. Many buttons, with good click, that just work, and allow for a high level of customization. Sticks and triggers that should be drift free for some time. The LCD screen, which I had never used before in a controller, makes adjusting on the fly very easy. All in all, it just gives you somewhat ridiculous control and optionality in setting it up how you like. Both in the software and physically. While I did find the app useful in doing that, and mostly easy, on the software side, it could probably be improved to make the experience that much better. It is not bad, but just something to note. In game, I found it very comfortable to use both overall, and in terms of button placement and use. Even after some extended periods. Responsiveness was impressive and latency was not an issue, no matter the mode. Additionally, connectivity was also rock solid, again, no matter the type. I’m quite pleased here. I do feel battery life could be a “bit” improved. It was fairly solid for me, about as rated, give or take the 10-hour mark, but on some level I would think the screen, which I do like, is taking some of that up. I guess it is a give and take thing, and I will see how it goes over time. Ultimately, though, this is a quality controller, and I like it. It has a neat look, is built well, feature-rich, and gives me a nice level of control. Most importantly, for me, it is comfortable to use and works well in game. Honestly, it may be a lot for some, those looking for some casual gaming; however, for those looking to dig into the customization and improve their play and experience, I think the value is there and it would be a really nice choice.

A Wirelss COntroler That Kicks Butt
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Nacon wireless controller for either Xbox or PC has been impressive for me so far. Battery life has proven to be outstanding with what I feel to be exceptional range . I mainly use it to game via my Windows PC and I have nothing but good words to say about it. Connecting it to my Windows 11 machine was easy as it could be and it has changed the way I game on my PC. It fels goof in the hands and it feels rather ergonomic when putting in an hours long gaming session. Setup for various games is easy and there is no detectable lag during game play. When I am gaming it works like a champ and makes those long game sessions easier on me. Customizing it for use with various game is easy to accomplish and makes it easier on different games. Keeping it charged is easy as just putting it back on the included stand wich keeeps rhis controller easily available any time I feel taking a break from the daily grind and escaping "the world" for a little while. To say I'be been happy with this controller would be a vast understatement.

Top of the line
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is on a Nacon - Revolution X Unlimited Wireless Controller for Xbox Series X - Anniversary Edition. I haven't tried them all but I own many custom controllers. This is by far the best custom controller I have tried. There is almost every aspect that is possible to customize on this controller. You can add weights to it, turn on trigger stops, and add joystick shafts. I have been thinking about joystick shafts for a while and now it is possible without your own custom made cushion. You get 6 joystick heads. I really like the convex head. I would say the controller is a little on the larger size compared to others. I think a child would have a hard time using it. With the trigger stops on, I get some bad clicks because my fingers are in a position to use the top shortcut buttons. It takes a little bit more pressure to get it to click with the curled position they are in. I think that all controllers should have the shortcut buttons right next to the triggers. So please never remove these from any of your models. All of the buttons feel like a mouse click. There is a RGB ring around your right joystick that can change to 18 different colors. There is only three modes, pulsing, off and cycle. You can also control the speed and brightness. Of course, you can map your buttons but you can also change the curve of your sticks. There are 5 selections pre made for you (Linear, Reactive, Boosted, Immediate, Ultra Reactive) or you can customize it how you like. You can change the distance that it takes to pull the trigger before it reacts. It even has its own built in equalizer for different types of games if you plug in your headset. You can customize its vibration whether you want it on or off. You can even set the intensity. It can save up to 4 profiles to use for different games. The case that it comes with is larger than most but is designed well. I like how they did the net compared to other cases. Now, you ask does any of this help. Yes, I have hit shots unlike I have been able to do with other controllers. It hasn't made me a professional player but my aim has improved and I would recommend this controller if that is what you are seeking.

Should satisfy any controller aficionado!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for a controller that goes above and beyond a normal controller and are willing to spend some extra cash on it, this is an excellent choice! There are so many things to play with :) It comes with a very sturdy carrying case that should stand the test of time easily and keeps all your addon goodies secure and organized! Inside you'll find the controller, a nice microfiber rag for cleaning things, the charging base for keeping the controller topped off between sessions and also plugging in the wireless USB dongle if you want, a nice long durable cord for wired sessions, a set of weights, extra posts and controller knobs so you can swap them out and find the best fit / preference. You can also download the settings app that lets you make all sorts of adjustments to how the controller functions and store settings. It also connects via Bluetooth if you want. The controller has a nice weight to it without adding the additional weights and feels sturdy and comfortable. I especially like the soft rubber grips around the sides. You have lots of different extra controller switches and buttons available to program to your liking or lock them from being used. All the buttons, triggers and joysticks have a nice premium feel to them except the XABY buttons. I think they could've made those feel a bit more premium and solid. They feel a little loose and not as premium compared to all the other ones included and it left me wondering why they didn't buff those as well. Would've been the icing on the cake in my opinion for this premium experience. The LED screen is a nice addition and lets you switch between console and PC mode and toggle different settings right from the controller. Definitely part of the premium feel and experience as well as the RGB ring that changes color around the right joystick. The gyro-aiming functionality is a nice addition as well and adds to the usefulness of the controller! Overall, I think this is definitely something that will satisfy and bring a smile to any controller aficionado face looking for a premium controller experience for the Xbox or PC for years to come! It will be my main controller from now on :)

High-End Controller in a X360 Shell
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally got my hands on the Nacon Revolution X Unlimited Anniversary Edition and it is a weird mix of pure nostalgia and high-end tech. Right out of the box the first thing you notice is that Xbox 360 aesthetic. It has that off-white shell and those colored face buttons that immediately take you back to 2006. Hardware-wise this thing is a tank. It uses Hall Effect sensors for both the sticks and the triggers so you won't have to worry about stick drift six months down the line making it a better investment than the first party controllers. The sticks are asymmetric and the box comes with a bunch of swappable heads and rings so you can dial in the physical feel. I personally like a heavier controller so I threw the heaviest weights into the handles immediately. It makes the unit feel substantial and premium rather than like a plastic toy. The buttons use Omron micro-switches which give them a very distinct mouse-click feel. It is very responsive but if you are used to the softer mushy feel of a standard controller it might take a day or two to adjust. The six shortcut buttons are positioned well enough though reaching the two extra buttons near the bumpers can be a bit of a stretch depending on how you grip. Connectivity is solid. It has a dedicated dongle for the 2.4GHz wireless and it also supports Bluetooth and wired modes. The LCD screen isn't just for show either. You can map buttons and change audio profiles right on the controller without having to tab out to an app mid-match. The battery life is probably the only real sticking point. You get about 10 hours on a charge. Compared to the 40 hours you get from an Elite Series 2 that is pretty weak. However, it comes with a dedicated charging dock. At the end of the day you are paying for the Hall Effect tech and the customization. It is expensive but if you are tired of stick drift and want something that feels a bit more sturdy then this is a great choice. I would recommend giving it a shot.

Great Controller, So many options
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a relative XBox controller purist, in my experience in the past I've never had great experiences with third party controllers in terms of support or longevity, however this one has made me question that stance. To start: Packaging is straightforward and even leans to the premium side. The controller is packaged in a carrying case and has some basic literature, comes with a charging cradle, multiple weights, different joystick heads, an accessory storage box and more... almost too much to get in to. Use: It supports both bluetooth and a dongle, has support for 20 profiles, PC mode and XBox mode. Really when it comes to needing to make a controller feel exactly how you want it to, it supports it. I have used this on both my XBox and my PC at this point, and while on PC I tend to use controllers exclusively for fighting games, side scrollers and racing games. The fluidity in which I can move between the configurations and the profiles is excellent. I've got it set up for the weight I want with the exact feel of the sticks that I want, so it just comes down to switching profiles. Response is excellent, I have not had any experiences of delay or lag time when using it, everything on the controller is exactly where you expect it to be and does what you expect it to do. Overall If you're looking for a controller that is not made by Microsoft for your XBox experience, this is definitely the top of the line and worth a look, if you have a need to move between profiles for game types, this is definitely what you need

A No-Compromise high-performance gaming controller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nacon Revolution X Unlimited Controller, has all the Bells and Whistles that a VERY competitive gamer would require. However, if like me you are not pushing your controller to that demanding a level, you may find that the very customization this controller offers, might not necessarily improve your gaming experience. Personally I found that when I pick this controller up off of the table or armchair, I can’t avoid accidentally activating one of the many buttons covering every surface of the controller. This is especially problematic when using my Xbox to watch YouTube videos. Unwanted button or stick pressing causes something I don’t want to happen, to happen. Check out all of the capabilities of this controller and consider whether your gaming/TV viewing style requires most of them. Features: - A free app available on both the Windows and Xbox Stores, allows (and is sometimes required), to make changes in the Controller settings and for initializing the controller itself, out of the box. - The controller’s response to the gamer’s manual input can be varied from extremely tight for a demanding shooter, to looser and more relaxed for simpler fantasy games. - Hall-effect joysticks and triggers produce precision control and should reduce the possibility of stick drift as the controller ages. - Depending on user needs, the controller can connect wirelessly to an Xbox via USB Dongle, by Bluetooth to a PC. or via the included ~10 ft cable. - There are six additional programmable shortcut buttons, including two sets of rear/bottom paddles and top or front mounted shortcut and macro buttons. The standard buttons, bumpers, and triggers found on standard Xbox controllers are there as well. - A top-mounted backlit LCD screen is included to allow some of the controller adjustments to be made without the app if needed. - A Gaming Headphone Jack, with manual microphone on/off button - One-year Limited Warranty Included Accessories: - A slightly magnetic charging station. - An ~10 Ft. Long High-end USB type B to C cable THAT MUST BE SAVED to assure communication between the controller and the app to work dependably if updates or changes are needed. Don’t lose this cable. - A nice solid padded carrying case with zipper closure. - A well packed box of varied buttons joysticks and weights that allow extreme customization of how this controller feels in the hands PROS: - Highly customizable to satisfy a highly competitive gamer - The large width compared to the typical Xbox controller is good for average or large hands - The onboard LCD screen allows direct control for most functions without the companion app being needed. - Very quick response times - Excellent tactile rubber exterior to lessen the chance of slippage during fast games - Hall-effect joysticks and triggers improve accuracy and durability over time - Many accessories are included, such as various length and shaped joysticks, various weights, a carrying case, and a USB cable. CONS: - The large width compared to the typical Xbox controller, is uncomfortable for smaller than average hands. The large size also makes the controller heavier than most. - The owner’s manual and support app need improvement, which should come soon, since currently this is a relatively new controller. Conclusion: The Nacon Revolution X controller is a very customizable product. If you are a very competitive player and every sliver of mechanical advantage you can get out of a controller will improve your winning streak, then this controller should be seriously considered. However, if you’re an average gamer and are just looking to replace the standard controller because it wore out, this is a bit of overkill. Look at the features, and see if they fit your requirements.

Hall effect sticks and convenient LCD screen
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, spending extra for a controller when your Xbox comes with fairly solid (in my opinion) controllers means the extra needs to offer something more. For PC, even more so since you can easily just connect your Xbox controllers for use. What the Revolution X Unlimited brings to the table are mainly 1) Hall effect sticks 2) user configurable weights to balance the controller as desired 3) button and stick mapping The LCD screen is clean and doesn’t clutter the face as much as one might imagine. Actually, it shows the button mapping, audio settings, and pairing, so it is more useful than it initially sounds. Gyro aiming is available, but I’ve never been a fan so it’s not a feature I can attest to. The main and primary negative/con that I can identify with this controller is the battery life only lasts about 10 hours. The incuded dock makes things easy, but I guess if you’re a marathon gamer then the time cap could be an issue. Thankfully (or maybe not, depending how you look at it) as an adult with kids, I’m never going to come close to running out of battery during a single gaming session.

Awesome!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Packed perfectly came in perfect condition. Unboxing and syncing was super simple and worked seamlessly. This controller is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The multi functioning customization experience that you get with owning this controller is exactly what you’re looking for and top-tier gaming. No matter if you’re playing shooter or role players sports, this controller has everything for you. From the wider and extended grips for better thumb control to the light up joystick module it really gives you that feel of being like a gaming expert and it’s exactly what I was looking for in a controller exactly what I was looking for. Battery life is also exceptional I’m not sure how many hours of gaming can be done in one charge but I’ve been using this controller exclusively for over 3 weeks and have only had to charge it twice. The other thing I notice is my fingers don’t get sore on sports games like NHL I usually hurt my thumb lol but this controller has a wider grip for more comfortability. Also this thing is really cool looking. Overall 10/10
