We've had Neato's before (many years ago) and this model has come a long way. Having it be connected is a huge leap. Being able to see the map on the phone is awesome and lets you know if you need to clear a better path or if everything is getting covered. Super easy to setup and schedule, I would definitely recommend.

Good for routine cleaning, got disconnected once but pretty reliable..have to remove loose rugs, items it might become entangled in...on the eco mode with extra care navigation helps avoid getting stuck on lumpy carpets

I choose this item due to the way it cleans. Cleaning with a pattern makes it so nice to work around it when it is cleaning. The design of this product allows for it to reach corners better. It is great to have when you super busy and need a quick cleaning - turn it on and let it take care of the vacuuming for you.

This works really well. It has only gotten stuck once and that was my fault. It cleans my med carpet very well when I vacuum with my upright barely gets anything up after the robot has gone. It also dose a really good job under my dining room chairs. I have only had it for about a month so far but no problems yet.

This unit picks up everything ,we have two long-haired cats that leaves hair everywhere. I program it to run in the morning after we go to work, it sends me a message saying job complete and even shows me a map of what it cleaned. I come home its sitting in the charger fully charged and then I just clean the basket.

Traded in our bObiPet for this and extremely happy we did.

We bought this vacuum as a Christmas present for ourselves and we absolutely love it! It is so convenient and time saving. We have a 100 pound lab that sheds a lot and it has really helped to cut down on the hair that's on the floor and cut down on our vacuuming time as well. We highly recommend this vacuum!!

It connected to my wifi and my tablet, but when i tried to connect it to my phone it won't connect at all. I deleted my tablet hoping I can connect it to my phone, it did not, not only it did not connect to my phone it did not connect to my tablet either, returned it and got another one.

I was hesitant to purchase a botvac at first, but I am so glad I did! That little vacuum cleans just as well as my upright, and I don't have to do any of the work. I have it paired with my Echo and use the app which makes it even easier. I live in a very windy and dusty area plus I have two cats, and Neato gets it all.

I love the Neato Vacuum. I returned the Roomba for another Neato. My previous Neato lasted 3 years. With BestBuy warranty program, I was able to reasonably replace it. It chirps if it gets lost to tell you where it is. I live in the country with two dogs and hate vacuuming manually. My home is neat and tidy with Neato.

We did a lot of research before choosing a robotic vacuum. This one has lived up to the good reviews we read. It gets into corners much better than the roomba does, and it picks up dirt and animal hair very well. As long as you empty it everyday and change the filters regularly, I believe it will last a very long time.

I am very impressed on how well this robot cleans. Used another upright vacuum the day before running the Neato D5, very impressed how much more it picked up. While it does make some noise, not as bad as other vacuums. The methodical way it cleans every bit of the room then moves on to next is revolutionary.

We upgraded from our old Roomba 650 and wow what a difference! The neeto actually will hit all areas in a locical pattern. The day we brought it home, the Roomba has just run, and then we ran the neeto for comparison and it picked up a full bin that the Roomba has missed.

We have two and we love them. There is no way I would go back to vacuuming by hand all the time. It occasionally does silly things but most of the time it works perfectly and even if it gets stuck occasionally it's still better than vacuuming by hand.

Very great with litter being a cat owner. Definetly has some connection issues and don’t recommend to anyone that is not tech savvy. Make sure there is 2 feet of clearance from both sides

This product has made my life much better in all reality. I made the mistake at my first starter home to get black floors. HUGE MISTAKE. They show every type of dust or dirt imaginable. So what I did was bought this robot to get the job done for me to allow me more free time (aka I have a very busy schedule everyday). This product is easy to use and does a good job. Unfortunately, it does have problems with corners where it can leave spots of dirt. Also it does get stuck under items. I purchased furniture raisers so that it would not happen anymore. Things also cannot be left on the ground or it will suck them up. This requires you to do some work otherwise it will not work.

Expected more. Little difficult to get set up. Set up one device until you are sure it works, the add addition phones or iPads. Noisier than others. That being said; it does an exceptional job.

I have owned many Neato Vacuums in the last year, mostly D5 Connected. The D5 does an excellent job of cleaning and does a really good job of transitioning from laminate to a tall rug. I have mostly had issues with scheduled cleanings starting after a month into use. Normally this can fixed with a reset but after the first month you are resetting it weekly. Sometimes the D5 would also require a hard reset to recharge. This is definitely the best model out of all that I have tried from Neato, hopefully one day they will be more reliable.

The size of the dirt bin is so much better, the ap is awesome, the machine is so much more quiet. But, I took it back. Everyday it would get stuck somewhere. I had to reset it, I could not get it to dock from the ap and the lasers got stuck after a week of cleaning. I did take it back and upgrade to the Roomba 960. Never gets stuck, ap is better, works with Alexa but the dirt bin gets filled faster. Glad I switched. For the difference in $$ I think Roomba is a better product. However, I had a neato previous and dealt with it getting stuck frequently.

Yes I know you may be thinking not the best gift for a birthday, but trust me it is really the gift that keeps on giving. It is so nice not to hear complaints about dust on the dark wood floors. Not to mention the go, no go lines and navigation in the dark.
