If you haven’t yet, you can try doing the following:
Retrain Voice Match
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Assistant settings and then Voice Match.
- Tap Teach your Assistant your voice again and then Retrain.
Change Nest Audio's hotword sensitivity
- Open your Google Home app.
- Select your Nest Audio.
- At the top right, tap the Settings (Gear) icon.
- Then tap Audio.
- Then tap "Hey Google" sensitivity and adjust the slider to make your Nest Audio more responsive to the hotword.

To improve how the Google Assistant recognizes your voice commands, we recommend retraining your Nest Audio with your voice using the Voice Match feature. Here's how:
Retrain using Voice Match:

Took some time setting up and adjusting to using it. Great sound during the holidays for playing must when working in the kitchen. Overall, very happy with it.

However, I was underwhelmed by its performance. While it's not a bad product by any means, I think its value is closer to $40. In terms of functionality, I didn't notice a significant difference between this unit and my old Google Mini. If you're in the market for something like this, I'd suggest checking it out in person to see if it's right for you.
