A: Yes. Nest Audio comes with a 30W power adapter with an auto-volt input voltage of 100V - 240V and output voltage of 24V. However, the plug differs for some regions and you may need to use an adapter.
Q: Can this be connected to my bedroom TV and use on a night stand as a TV speaker?
A: Yes, you can. You may set up Nest Audio as a group speaker with your TV if it's having a Chromecast device or a built-in Chromecast. You may also have the option to pair Nest Audio via Bluetooth, if your TV supports Bluetooth connectivity.

A: You can play it through Spotify using vocal commands as long as you set up your Spotify account through the Google Home app to link it to the speaker. You can also adjust the volume via phone as you would normally.
Q: How good does the audio sound compared to a Bluetooth speaker like Sony or JBL or Sonos?
A: I think this is a speaker just to do commands as assistant, not much of a Bluetooth speaker. I would reccomend JBL for sure if you want a Bluetooth speaker and to have more base and more in volume. This can only do so much and it’s really to just talk to it and for it to do things for you as in like turning off tv , making phone calls and etc..
Q: Can this speaker be installed outdoors? Under a covered patio?
A: I just found mine in the front corner of the lot after the hurricane hit. It was buried in saltwater. I plugged it in and it powered right up. It's a little scuffed and the mesh on the top is gone.
A: Unfortunately, this feature is not supported. While you can pair your Nest Audio with your laptop and turn it to a Bluetooth speaker, the microphone is designed to allow you to talk to Google Assistant, make audio calls, and detect sounds (with a Nest Aware subscription in certain regions, and if you have enabled this feature).

Speaker

My new Google Speaker
Aside from the overpackaging, this is a great addition, I have an old Google speaker in my TV room, and this one went in my bedroom. It likes “hey google” instead of “ok google” as an address, although I find it also responds to the old inquiry. I use it primarily to listen to channels on my Sirius XM account, and the sound quality is excellent.

Great upgrade from the previous version
I purchased this Nest Audio to replace an older version. I was happy with my older one, but I wanted a better speaker and microphone. Music sounds way better than the original. The music cannot replace a high quality speaker, but it sounds good enough for listening to music while I cook. I was also pleased with the improvement to the microphone. The device can detect my commands from about 50 plus feet away with the noise from the kids and TV. The only negative thing I can say about this Smart Speaker is that the power cord is over a foot shorter than the previous version. I would recommend this smart speaker for anyone who wants a great smart device for their home. It works well and can control the TV, thermometer, robot vacuums and many other tech products I own.
