||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my Google Nest Audio speakers (3 of them) for a number of years but as time has marched on, Google has seen to destroying a wonderful product. Google Assistant rarely responded in the end, with the right actions or information, Gemini has only made things worse with it regularly saying to use native apps to control smart devices or listen to audio instead of doing the things the Google Nest Audio was marketed as doing. You're better off getting any other smart home speaker, itll be less headache in the long run.

Decent sprakers but could use tweaks

If you're playing Nest Audio in a speaker group together with your other Google Nest speakers, we recommend changing the following settings:
- Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Nest Audio and other speakers.
- Cast music to the group that's playing out of sync.
- Stand between the out of sync speakers (or as close to in between as you can) and adjust their volume levels so you hear them both playing at the same level.
- Open the Google Home app.
- Touch and hold your device's tile.
- Tap Settings and then Audio and then Group delay correction.
- Move the slider to the left or right until the audio goes in sync.

The sound isn't as crisp as the little ones or the hub. works fine but seems a bit dull.

I was trying to replace 2 of my 12 various Google Assistants. In this case a pair of JBL Link 20 speakers which sound amazing, and space, savers, but suck at reliability in answering. "Something went wrong" is their favorite information to share. The Home Max is the only audiophile quality speaker Google makes, so I guess I will return these and keep looking. I don't have space where there were for speakers that size. Drat.
