I purchased this Hub for my parents to set up all their smart home tech. This thing is amazing and is literally the hub. Once you get other devices, controlling them via the hub is so easy and futuristic. I then got one for myself. This is the first thing you need to get your smart home started. Also, you can listen to music on it, watch YouTube, etc.

Great smart display! The Nest Hub 2nd Gen has a clear 7" screen and works smoothly with Google Assistant. Setup was quick, and it easily controls my smart home devices. The Chalk color looks clean and modern. I use it for music, timers, and checking reminders — very helpful every day. Highly recommend!

Great For the Kitchen, Family loves to settle arguments by “hey google” . Have all my home security cameras available to look at anytime, music, recipes, weather, reminders. And my favorite part is how i have it set up to recognize our faces and voices when using so everyones experience is personalized.

These things are so easy to set up and so convenient to have. The touchscreen display is high quality and very easy to use, but you can also perform the bast majority of things by voice as well. I keep mine in my kitchen and it can hear commands from two rooms away. It is great as a stand alone device to get basic things (like getting recipes, setting timers/alarms, answering questions, playing music), but is also the best home automation hub on the market (controlling lights, adjusting thermostat, etc.). You DO have to purchase additional devices if you want to run smart home automations and your current devices are not Google compatible, but MOST smart devices are.

Picked up the Google Nest Hub from Best Buy and love it. It connects perfectly with my Nest doorbell, thermostats, and lights, and the photo frame feature is my favorite — seeing pictures of my family throughout the day is a great touch. Easy setup, smooth integration, and a great addition to my home. Highly recommend.

Love the aspect use it in the kitchen, it can send the robot vac out and like other smart devices and plays music. This device has many features that can potentially be overwhelming to some users that are not familiar with technology.

As a long-time Google Pixel user, i've gone all in on Google products. I got the Nest Hub display on sale for $43 which was a great value for this hub. I use it in my bedroom and it's great for displaying pictures, streaming media, and of course, accessing Google Assistant. It's also one of 2 products that Google put their Soli chip which allows you to use some hand gestures to stop and snooze alarms or play and pause music. I wish they had done more with the chip, but it's nice to be able to just wave at the hub for those quick gestures. The device is small, but the speaker sounds great and is enough to fill the average room with good audio. The device doesn't come with a camera though, which you may consider to be a good thing, but of course that means that you can't use any kind of video calling features or apps.

Love the ability to have all my Google Nest devices in one display that keeps things organized and a place to play my music while im cooking, would like to get a nice google nest speaker or a speaker to connect to it to be able to hear my Nest doorbell chime better when we get visitors, its pretty much strsight forward to use, it gives you a little tutorial in the beginning which didnt really work for me so i kind if figured everything put myself sometimes it does get frustrating to call people off of it sometimes it works sometimes it just reads the number out loud and the person you call must have Google meet i havent really understood this part of the hub yet but i have made successful calls and some unsuccessful

I bought two of these to be used as clocks on our nightstands. Overall, I really like them! The dimming is perfect. Like, could not be better perfect. It's nearly instantaneous, and is perfectly visible in bright morning light coming in the window, and has such a low setting in pitch black, it's hard to imagine and LCD getting that dim. In fact, I'll go as far as to say it's the best clock I've ever had in my bedroom! Speaking of which, the sleep tracking, which as of now is free, is really cool. Being able to see how I slept vs how I feel in the morning is fascinating, and has led to me making some changes in my nighttime routine. It's a shame that it'll be a paid feature in the future. It gets four stars because the interface is just ever so slightly lagging. In an era of buttery-smooth Android and iOS interfaces, this feels like an interface from circa 2016. Not bad per se, but just not perfect either. Also, when having two in the same room, like on nightstands, when you say OK Google, they both respond, even with Voice ID on. They should be able to communicate and have only one respond. That said it integrates tightly with my smarthome setup, and being able to reach over and turn off my TV from it somehow feels like something from the future. I really like these little guys!

I was going to get a mini Google Nest as I already have two of them, but the display is SO nice. I've completely replaced my outdated alarm clock with this. It does everything any Google Home product does, just with an additional screen to show you more information. For example, if you ask about the weather for the day, it will vocally tell you, but the display will also show the weather for the next week with highs and lows. It also has a cool feature that dims and brightens the screen based on light it senses already in the room, so it isn't too bright at night. It was quite easy to set up, just like the others. It's a little bit of a pain to move one to a different room as you have to reset it and reconnect it, but it could definitely be harder.

Best Music and Rain Noise System I have ever purchased. I play it everyday and the screen is very easy to use. Hooked up 4 smaller speakers Google of course and I have an entire surround sound experience in my room “My Oasis”. I purchased for Christmas Gifts for around 6 people after I enjoyed mine so much.

This smart speaker/display is a great upgrade over the first generation. Now the main improvement is the sleep tracking and I’m here to tell you that it works and it works great. I’ve always wanted to be able to see how well I’m sleeping and I absolutely hate wearing a watch while I sleep, and this is solves that problem. During set up you tell it when you want to go to bed and when you want to wake up and it will remind you it’s time for bed before hand so you can get ready. It also sounds a lot better then the first generation. It sounds fuller with more base. Now it’s not going to replace a bigger speaker, but it’s not bad at all. It also loads and runs faster as well. Google did well here. Now I’m just hoping they’ll update the Nest Hub Max nest.

We purchased three of these. One for our Kitchen and then one each for our nightstands. The main functions for us was 1. Automatic video feed from our Nest Doorbell when it was rang. 2. Pull up Nest Camera Feed 3. Easily turning the lights on and off on screen or with voice commands This does all of that great. The speakers are nice for music but not the driving factor for us. You also have the ability to turn off the mic using the switch built into the Hub. They serve their purpose well and are very convenient. Sometimes they are slow to complete a task such as when verbally being told to turn on or of lights but it is far and in between so I can still confidently recommend them!

You can ask Google anything because it’s knowledge is infinite! You can set, plan or remind yourself of future events. You can watch any movie, YouTube video local weather forecast or listen to any song that actually sounds great with the quality speaker!!
