Works relatively well. Still learning all the ins and outs of all the functions its capable of. Like the screen size and footprint size. Not to big, not to small. Sound is not bad. Good for listening to some music or videos and not having to turn on the big a/v system. Having difficulties getting both hubs and a mini to connect together to play music on all of them at the same time. All in all, not a bad little display.

This is a perfect gift item for families and friends. I am using this for the past 3 years and recently purchased the 2nd Gen for my family. They have been using this with no complaints what-so-ever! If you have a child/kid at your home, then this is must have as their never ending questions don't have to stop - you can always have them ask the Google Assistant and she will be glad to answer them forever :) And then of course it helps the adults with playing the song of their choice, or a video for that matter when you need extra help while cooking. It has good speaker quality and I pretty much have never encountered with any problem!!

Have one for the living room and adding another one for the bedroom makes it easy putting notes, reminders, entertainment, etc. It’s compact and easy to use.

Though they can be a little slow due to their aging internals, the Nest hubs are still great for all kinds of things. We regularly use it for timers, alarms, shopping lists, and weather updates. It's also great for those times when random questions pop up in your head that you need an answer to, and your phone is in the other room. Also, the speak is loud and sounds great! Awesome for when we're hosting parties and syncing the sound with our sound bar and other Nests.

Great sound quality. small yet powerfull. I use it in my bedroom as night stand clock that tracks my sleep as well. can work as a small photo frame as well. Highly recommended

Very pleased with all of our Nest products, especially this one. It provides all the functionality of a Nest Hub Max without a camera. The lack of a camera is a necessity for our purchase as this Nest Hub is on a desk that happens to be in a sleeping area. Very happy with this product, would highly recommend it and have purchased others as Christmas for family members.

Perfect, if you have a Google Echo system, just grab one of these in each room and you're good to go. Snappy, easy setup

The Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen) is a fantastic smart display for any home. It’s compact, stylish, and works seamlessly with Google Assistant for controlling smart devices, playing music, or displaying photos. The sleep tracking feature is a nice bonus, especially for bedside use. While the sound quality is decent for its size, it lacks a camera for video calls, which may be a downside for some. Overall, it’s a great addition for those looking to enhance their smart home setup without taking up much space.

It can be as simple as a clock or as in depth a day planner or mini entertainment center as you can find anywhere. Super simple to use straight out of the box if you already have google assistant. Even if you dont its as easy as downloading the app. I use it to control all the google connected items I have from my nightstand. The security cameras look great, the music and youtube selections are endless (with subscriptions for whatever you use) and they sound a lot better than you might expect. I dont even have to touch it to get it to stop playing something or to shut the alarm off, I just wave by it. I like it a lot and I find it extremely helpful/useful.

Not exactly my first rodeo with a nest hub. This would be my 5th fourth one though. I know you might be thinking that's a lot. But to be fair the first didn't fail due to poor quality of software. It was an external component that did that. So here I am, I shopped around to find one on a "deal" and landed on Best Buys website. Now I have one at my computer station for various reasons. I can now do many things from my "hub" without the need to pick up my phone and sign in. Changing the thermostat, watching a football game or streaming something else, to viewing my security system, plus much, much more. The deal made this clearcut for me. Yeah the screen isn't gigantic but it does what it needs to do and then some. It's also not like I'm viewing the screen from 10+ feet away. The options for background wallpapers are nice. Time is large to be seen along with weather. Can be very helpful for those who don't mind having a device monitor your conversation for queue words. Richard Nixon would be mad about wire taping becoming so "cool" and "ok", with what happened to him. Anywho, that's another topic these these newer generations could research, however, if ya don't mind having a device eavesdrop on you, "hello Google" you'll land in another home and someone else may find you useful too...

This product does exactly as expected. I already have a Nest mini and I'm excited to continue adding to my google home collection. I absolutely love it. It is helpful to have a music subscription, lucky for me I've been using youtube premium for years now so I can use youtube music with my smart speaker. It might be smaller than expected for some people but I read the dimensions before ordering and knew what I was expecting. The black Friday sale on it was awesome, great price!

I got this to replace an ailing Lenovo smart clock, and was surprised how many sleep related features it has. It can track a bunch of sleep parameters in Google Fit, the screen goes super dark so you can see the time without being disturbed, and the screen turns off when you're fully asleep. Paired with some smart lights, it's a great way to wake up.

Great smart display! The Nest Hub 2nd Gen has a clear 7" screen and works smoothly with Google Assistant. Setup was quick, and it easily controls my smart home devices. The Chalk color looks clean and modern. I use it for music, timers, and checking reminders — very helpful every day. Highly recommend!

Bought this for my son and he loves it, he controls his lights, TV, etc with it. The volume in the speaker is great too, I have one in my kitchen too and is great for recipes and listening music while cooking, also I can control my security camaras and stream live from this device. I definitely recommend this item

Picture frame and security camera viewer and nice way to turn on lights and the TV off (but not on). Been a nice little addition to the corner of the kitchen. Able to play YouTube channels but Google Assistant gets it wrong a lot. But that's not a reflection on this device. Haven't used the bed stand function to track sleep. Would be useful if I didn't buy a Lenovo Smart Clock at the same time. The sleep function of this device was not well advertised. But to track sleep patterns without wearing a watch to bed would be nice. I forget it doesn't have a camera. I tried to Duo call my wife from work on my lunch break but this device lacks a camera. Wonder why it wouldn't convert to allow her to see me but I only get Audio? That would really made it a "Smart" hub.

If you have $100, buy one of these instead of the Apple mini speaker. You get a colorful, touch-friendly screen, a very loud speaker, it acts as a hub, a Bluetooth speaker, and it can control all your smart home devices by voice or by navigating the screen. It plays YouTube videos right out of the box and understands you even if you're chewing food.

I bought two of these to pair with my new Nest Doorbell, among other tasks. It paired easily with the doorbell and lights, and it also serves as a great entertainment option on my own or with guests. The small screen produces an excellent picture and the sound quality is very good.

Great For the Kitchen, Family loves to settle arguments by “hey google” . Have all my home security cameras available to look at anytime, music, recipes, weather, reminders. And my favorite part is how i have it set up to recognize our faces and voices when using so everyones experience is personalized.
