The Google Assistant integration, reasonable price, and sleep tracking capabilities are also well-received. However, some customers have noted the absence of a camera and occasional sluggishness in responsiveness. Additionally, a few users mentioned compatibility issues with certain devices.

I have 3 of these now. We have 2 cameras in the kids rooms and be able to check in on them without touching your phone is great. I also have one sitting by my WFH space and listen to NPR with it. If you have several smart home devices, it's great to have everything paired up and able to quickly access them from here.

I use the sleep tracking function, and it helps me create better habits around sleep. The speaker is good enough for podcasts, and music, but it is not an audiophile speaker.

If you'd like the display without the bulk, this is a great in-between of the Nest Mini and Nest Hub Max. It would be nice if it did have a camera for those video calls but still worth it given the lower price. I recommend only purchasing when on sale.

Simple to set up and use. I primarily use it for controlling smart devices in my home, and listening to music. The display looks great, and the audio is decent enough for a small room. If it included a port to charge your phone, it would be perfect.

I love my new nest 7, I received it as a Christmas gift and enjoy that I can see recipes, and even get google video dual calls on it. It comes in handy when I’m Cooking and don’t want to touch my phone while cooking I can set timer, check the weather, listen to music l, make calls, search recipes etc.

The display itself I really do like. Google occasionally seems to have things 'out of sync' (not sure how to describe it). The Hub is perfect for my bedside table. Starts my morning routine when I stop the alarm or when I just say 'Hey Google, good morning!' Silly I guess. And certainly not a necessity but gadgets have become sort of a hobby. (I have 22 various 'smart' devices in my home) I notice better reviews for Alexa devices but I've always had android phones and I just decided to stay with Google.

Excellent midrange addition to the Echo line, with a decent screen, pretty good sound quality, and all the usual Google Home features. It could be a nice first introduction to the lineup, if you're not sure you want to spend a lot of money, or a good addition to another room in your house. (I use mine in the kitchen, especially for the timer feature.)

Both this to replace my previous unit which showed up a cracked display randomly one day. It works like a charm and if we didn't like the first one, wer would not have invested in a second one. Display is nice and vibrant, good size for tight spaces, and shows just enough information so you do have to look it up yourself. Just wish it had a camera built into it so you would have the purchase its bigger brother

The sound quality is much improved over the 1st gen, not that the 1st gen sound quality was bad. The 2nd gen is more bassy, without sounding muddy. The sleep tracking is more useful than I thought it would be. The sleep data is pretty in depth. The Soli gestures to play/pause music and to snooze alarms/timers is pretty cool as well.

This makes a nice clock! I wish it had the option to just display the current outside temp without a clock but it doesn't. If you want to watch things like YouTube or Netflix on it then it's great to have but if you just want it for voice commands and to use as a speaker then you might want to just get the speaker. Really depends on what you want to do - but you will still need to have the "Google Home" app on a mobile device in order to make full use of this.

Can control just about all of your smart devices via this unit. Lights, appliances, Cameras, and provides decent sounding Music. Besides answering your questions, device is useful when you have multiple devices to communicate via broadcast messages, and leaving digital notes for your Gen Z household.

Easy to set up. I like asking the time or getting reminded to do things. I can ask for a recipe, set one or more timers or alarms, play music, ask for store hours for specific places. I can listen to the news....all in all, a handy device!

The update with sleep assist is worth the purchase. I was able to create a morning routine that uses the smart bulbs in my ceiling fan to slowly brighten my room to wake me up in the morning. Sound quality is good for music while I prepare for my day and doesn't take up a lot of night stand real estate.

    Google Nest New Levelz

If you own a Google smart display, it's likely that you have the first-generation Nest Hub. However, there are other options available, such as the Lenovo Smart Display powered by Google Assistant or the more expensive Nest Hub Max with a built-in camera. For many smart home consumers, the smaller Nest Hub, priced at $130 and frequently on sale, is the preferred choice. But now, there's a new model to take its place. The second-generation Nest Hub is not only smarter but also cheaper at $100. With its impressive features, it's definitely worth considering. However, Google has introduced a new feature called Sleep Sensing, which may be unsettling for some users, similar to Amazon's Echo Show 10.

Its nice to have this in my bathroom. I like to ask Google questions (weather & news) while im getting ready for work. But, the responce time is much slower then the Alexa in my kitchen.
