    Yes, it's better than the 1st generation. The sound quality is noticeably better, but it's not night and day. Everything else works like it should. Highly recommended!

    Great little video hub with lots of features

    The hub is a handy size, looks nice, and has some great features. I have a wired indoor camera that I can easily move to whichever room I want to monitor and the hub is easy to see and to adjust the audio volume as needed. I especially like the portability. I can choose between the camera monitor, playing music, or checking news. The voice control using the Google assistant is very convenient. The only issue I had was trying to sync the music with a music service and coordinating with the mini Google speaker in another room.

    It’s the best voice assistant out there for responses with a screen. However it still has its hiccups by either not understanding, responding in a different room or just glitching and restarting. Security still feels sketchy with these.

      Google Assistant might activate even if you don't say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google” when it detects something that sounds similar. Also, it might not activate when you say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google,” particularly in a noisy environment. Retraining your Nest display to better recognize your voice, and adjusting the Hotword sensitivity may be helpful. You may follow the steps on these help articles:

      - Adjust how sensitive Google Assistant is to “Hey Google: https://support.google.com/assistant/answer/9712065

    So far it has features that my Alexa did not but its ability to understand me does not equal that of my alexa. Way more often does it tell me it cannot find a device connected to it or that it doesnt understand me. I will say its ability to differentiate voices from users and customize your experience from that is pretty cool tho.

      Retraining your Nest Hub with the Voice Match may help, especially if you have other family members sharing your Nest Hub. You can try these outlined steps:
      - Open the Google Home app on your mobile phone or tablet.
      - At the top right, tap your account.
      - Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap another account or Add another account.
      - Tap Assistant settings > Voice match > Add devices.
      - Make sure any devices you want to link your voice to are checked.
      - Tap Next, I agree.
      - Follow the in-app steps.
      - To get your personal information, you must turn on Personal results.
      - Tap I agree and proceed with the Voice match setup.
      - To invite others to set up a Voice Match for tailored results, tap Invite, choose your communication method, and send the invite. To skip this step, tap No, thanks.
