Hi ABCD, we appreciate you for sharing your feedback with us about the Nest Hub (2nd gen), and it’s unfortunate to learn that it’s too slow for playing music off Spotify. We understand how upsetting it can be if something isn’t performing the way you expected it.

If you haven’t tried yet, we recommend the troubleshooting tips below that might help:
- Make sure that your Nest display is within 15 ft - 20 ft of the router.
- Reboot your Nest display and router.
- Try to play music from another supported app and check if it’s slow.
- Move your display closer to the router and test.

Hi there, AustinW. We’re glad that you’re able to setup the Nest Hub (2nd gen) with ease, and we’re sorry to hear about your experience with video calls.

Video calls are available on Google Nest Hub, Google Nest Hub (2nd gen), and Google Nest Hub Max. The device you call must have a camera. Nest Hub and Nest Hub (2nd gen) can receive video but can't send video. While Google Duo and Google Meet have combined into a new Meet app on mobile devices, tablets, and computers, Google Nest displays will continue to show the Google Duo icon. You can even make group video calls with Google Meet on Nest displays. However, if Digital Wellbeing is enabled, this feature may be restricted or blocked by Downtime, Filters or Do not disturb.
