These things are at best expensive toys. They basically don't interact with my Ecobee thermostat, Kasa cameras and plugs nor Reolink cameras. You can set up a routine that will say goodbye to you when you tell it you are leaving or will play music when you tell it you are home, but anything else like setting the heat down or turning on the cameras is not in the cards.

We understand the inconvenience of having one device to control your smart home equipment and we’re sorry to hear it didn’t meet your expectations.
You can control over 50,000 smart home devices like TVs, lights, appliances, plugs, thermostats, and more when you add them to the Google Home app. However, some devices are not compatible. To start, set up your device in the Google Home app, then check that they've been synced. After you connect your smart devices in the Google Home app, you can use the Google Home app to control them. If you haven't tried yet, we recommend resetting Nest Hub to help fix the issue. Keep in mind that resetting will erase all data and that you may need to set it up again. To reset Nest Hub, check on the back of Nest Hub, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest Hub will let you know that it's resetting. You may also need to set up your other devices with Nest Hub (2nd Gen) after resetting.
