I was told it works with ADT security so you can view your front door camera on the Google Nest. The ADT guy said I need Google cameras in order to do that. i used to be able to control the Google Nest from my phone through bluetooth, but now my phone isn’t finding it. It does have good sound though.

The Google smart devices are the most intuitive for the price. The flexibility to seamlessly manage YouTube, Spotify, smart appliance etc applications in a multi room environment is ideal for my home setup.

I was planning on buying the Echo Dot with clock for my kitchen since we didn't have a clock in there. We had been using a Google mini that we got for free from Google but it was glitchy. But then I saw this in the store and it was only $10 more than the Echo Dot (on sale). The display picture with Spotify, weather and timer was what sold me. Unfortunately I haven't been able to duplicate that display yet. Nevertheless, I like that it has a slim profile, the clock display and that I can watch YouTube from it. I also like that I can heart songs that I like on Spotify to add them to my 'liked' songs playlist. For the sale price, I think it's definitely worth it. I'd probably be less likely to buy it if it were the regular price.

As a Google Mini fan - even with its ‘quirks’ (my Scottish Borders accent can throw her off a wee bit) - I bought the Nest so information could be displayed as well as heard. I wasn’t disappointed, especially with the feature of being able to stream YouTube videos and broadcasts. It also makes a very good clock! And who couldn’t love the Google Weather Frog - Froggy - and his weather-related screensaver antics? Definitely worth the investment.

Love that I can get my morning News, get my calendar and weather as well as watch videos. I have this on the kitchen counter so my front door Nest bell will sound here and the video opens to see who has arrived. Also I can work my Nest thermostat and the security cameras. This home hub is great!! I recommend it as it makes life simpler.

One of the better purchases in making my home a smart home. This is a must-have. Listening to music, seeing your photos every time you pass by it, setting alarms. Really completes your smart home ecosystem.

I love having this in my apartment. I have three of them in three different parts of my apartment. I watch my tv on this, since I do not have a formal type of tv. I also love the fact that I don't need a regular hub to connect for all the other products that I have in my apartment.

The voice recognition and accuracy of verbal commands is excellent. The advanced commands like morning or night routines is surprisingly convenient and makes starting the day on those rough to wake up mornings a little easier. The hand gestures though almost never work and the response time to everything is a little slow. Since my nightstand isn’t perfectly sized and located it probably needs a separately sold stand since it isn’t adjustable at all. If your nightstand isn’t below your bed (since it only can angle up), I would consider the stand they sell.

Excellent product, quality, and super clear image. It notifies you of package delivery or people passing by, and the doorbell shows an image of a person at the entrance. Highly recommended.

Having 2 earlier Nest Hub 7" version installed more than 2 years ago and still working trouble free, I decided to expand my network with a 3rd hub. The new 2nd generation Nest Hub installed & linked-up very easy to the existing Google network. I have not been able to identify what improvements exists from the 1st to the 2nd generation, but it may exist on features I am not using!

The Google Nest Hub is absolutely perfect for our Google-centric house. It sits on my desk upstairs where I can easily use it to get a live view of all three of our Google Nest Cameras. I use it to see the weather forecast. I use it to turn on my smart-plug appliances (e.g. television, lamp). Be aware, it does not have a camera, which is my preference, but it may not be that of others.

We got this for my wife's office so that she can keep track of the Google devices around the house. Cameras, Security system, Door Locks, Etc. Also great for listening to music during the workday, getting the weather, or setting a timer while working.

I have this in my kitchen. The video and sound quality are pretty good. I can watch Tv, videos, listening to music, search up recipes, control lights, thermostat, broadcast dinner is ready, etc while working in the kitchen. It is very useful and helpful. You will need some time learn the correct voice commands but once you get the hang of it, it is piece of cake.

The Google Hub is great. Connects to many different brand products. I'm not tech savvy but have a lot of gadgets and I can do mist things with ease.
