Helps a lot in the kitchen when I want to play music and my hands are dirty. I like most of the answers it gives me when I'm asking it something, but does occasionally not quite hit the mark. However, really great for controlling all of my smart lights / outlets / devices.

This is way better than Alexa. I really like using the Google hub. It makes a great alarm and makes my home really assessable. It’s very sensitive to commands. My home is definitely a great smart home because of it.

I purchased two of these for my smart home upgrade. I absolutely love how the Nest hub is a one stop shop for so many daily activities. Anything from the weather to playing Spotify. I installed on in the kitchen just for convenience ! If you plan on wall mounting I'd definitely go with the wall genie

Bought to add to my collection, this is the third one I’ve purchased. I used to have an alexa set up but I switched to google. I like the slim design and the sound quality of the speaker. I like that there isn’t a camera on the front and it’s just a motion sensor.

Good price. Quality product. The location was easy to get to. The service was good. The device was easy to set up, and it is very easy for home automation purposes. Would recommend it to anyone.

I love this Google Hub! I placed it in the kitchen and I use it all the time for recipes and any information I need for my day! It also serves as an announcement when my Google doorbell rings and shows me who is at the door! It’s a Win Win!

Great addition to any room in the house. Responds to mostly and prompts. Can be used as a speaker, video player, alarm clock or even a hub for bad jokes. Works best if you're heavy into the Google ecosystem

Love the product. Specially if you are trying to create an ecosystem from google. You can view your camera,doorbell, and view your nest thermostat temperature all from this little device.

The best and affordable Nest Hubs I have used. Music of this and videos make it enjoyable to cook and clean.

I had lights that were connected to smart clock and they kept going offline. The new Next Hub Smart Display fixed the issue. I wish it was a little more customizable for clock faces but it did everything advertised and more. It was easy to set up and fit right into the smart ecosystem. I would recommend it.

It’s ok, not like amazing. The touch sensing has a slight delayed response. it’s not the iPad lol. And you can’t select podcasts without asking google assistant for help, but it’ll play as long as you speak the full name clearly and accurately so you get the one you want. Also I probably won’t use Netflix but I do use the YouTube app. I love that it tells the weather and the time, and I can set a timer fast, and other convenient features, and I can pair the speaker with other speakers. The sound is surprisingly loud and clear for its small size. But don’t expect full bass sounds, it is not like a Bose or Sonos. I’m still able to control my Philips hue lights and speakers and my Hisense U8G android TV, and my Xbox series X. It’s a convenient little piece of tech for my nightstand, and was on sale for Black Friday ($49), but I wouldn’t want to pay full price for it. Also I do prefer google over siri and Amazon, fyi, so it was this or those other ones. I would like the big one but I have an iPad already, and I don’t need to watch movies on this. The only reason I would want to get the larger one would be for the camera feature.but again price wise I’d rather not, this one is just fine.

This is my 2nd Google Assistant-type of product. I have a JBL Link View which I also use in the kitchen. I use the Google assistant mostly for playing music videos, simple searches for traffic and weather while preparing something else, or saying commands for my WiFi-based lights. This product is no different from other devices and functionality-wise, it's a great product as everything from Google is "linked" together and have the same user interface. I know what to expect from getting a smaller device so I don't expect it to give a full sound for playing music. However, what I started noticing from this device compared to my other google assistant (JBL LinkView) is that it has a higher rate of failures in understanding my voice commands even though it's in a bedroom. There was one time where I did not even say "Hey Google", and it picked up something from a TV news and started playing a podcast. It's strange as I thought everything has to start with the key phrase (ie Hey Google or OK, Google). The only explanation I can think of is because of the limitation or sensitivity on the microphone (maybe a cheaper or low-end device) so it interprets a different command. In the JBL LinkView, even when there are some "chatter" noise in our living room, I'm amazed that it can pick up my commands clearly even when you are just whispering. Overall, this is still a great device but don't expect it to be perfect with all your voice commands.

I am happy with the display of the Nest Hub, but I had to replace it because the screen cracked when the device accidentally fell. The fall wasn't even severe, but it must have encountered something that caused the damage. It would have been helpful if screen protectors were available for purchase or included with the device. Perhaps there are screen protectors designed specifically for the Nest Hub, or maybe there are similar devices, like iPads, of the same size that offer compatible screen protectors. Fortunately, replacing the Nest Hub was simple because I had a Best Buy membership at the time.
