It's nice to have a home assistant that actually responds to my wife's voice and not just mine. Enabling the voice activation elements for all users is not intuitive, so I think there are some Interface issues they need to work on, thus the reason for dinging the device 1 star. As for comparisons to Alexa, I've had a lot of problems with Alexa not working with all of my Wi Fi devices. The Nest Hub does not have similar problems. The visual screen that portrays actual information is a bonus. I would recommend this device over Alexa and I've had about 4 years of experience with Alexa prior to buying the Nest Hub.

Useful smart device. Understands voice commands better than Alexa, has more information to provide, and controls smart home devices. If you use Google photos, it can display a slideshow of your best pictures.

This smart display is a great deal at the sale price of ~$50! It syncs well with Google accounts, as well as my Apple Music and SiriusXM accounts. Videos play well, speakers sound great!

I'm a Google Girl! I wanted the 2nd generation of the Nest Hub. The photos are great and the sounds of music are really clear and don't forget it monitors your sleep.

Purchased for son and daughter-in-law. They loved it so much and wanted one for each room in their home. So, we helped them with that goal.

I got this device on sale and it is amazing. I already owned the first generation device and with the sleep tracking on the second gen it was a no brained to buy another one.

The nest hub has been a good addition to my smart home & defiite upgrade from the nest mini. I like the view screen & the access it gives to weather, contacts & smart home controls. Worth the investment.

The Nest Hub 7” Smart Display with Google Assistant (2nd Gen) - Chalk it’s a very basic display. The screen it’s too small to see series or tv shows, however it’s great to do others thing.

Love that im able to use this for everyday. From my Mest Doorbell to DUO calling and even watching YouTube and casting my phone to it. Makes things much easier around the house.

This smart hub rarely misunderstands me unlike Alexa. It responds very well to my Chromecast or my smart lights. The display is beautiful. I was even surprised that I was able to watch on NBA league pass on it.

What a great way to stay on top of all your smart gadgets in your home. My favorite feature is being able to control my thermostats from my nightstand. And the speaker sounds amazing as well for the price

Nest Hub is so convenient product, I bought this as a gift as I already had one at my home. Got it for a offer which was great. If you have google devices this product is a must have.

Bought this for my daughter to act as her personal assistant. Works as her alarm clock, calendar, weather forecaster, DJ, etc. She loves it and uses it daily. The streaming music from Spotify sounds pretty good for what this device is.

Great item to add to your kitchen or bedroom. Alerts when people ring the doorbell, plays music, youtube and voice activated.

Use it every day! Has funny jokes if you ask and helps keep organized while enjoying some family pictures as well.

I really like this product. I use this as my Go-to hub to turn on/ off my smart lights and adapter plugs in my home. Saves you a lot of time when you are busy handling a newborn.
