Not sure I would have paid full price. Thought I would be able to see my Google Nest Smoke Alarms. Unfortunately, Google and Nest have not bridge Smoke Alarms into the Google Home app yet.

It connected to her Wi-Fi at first but then lost it. I had bought two, so I gave her the second one and took this home. It works great on my Wi-Fi, go figure.

We’re sorry to hear about the issue with its connectivity at your daughter’s house, and we’re glad that it works well on your Wi-Fi. If you run into the same situation again in the future, please note that a range issue or wireless interference can affect the performance of your display. Sometimes it may pass the connection test during setup, but will struggle to stay connected if it’s just a bit too far away. If you're experiencing a spotty connection or weak signal, we recommend checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested. This may happen if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network. Removing other connected devices to your Wi-Fi may relieve network congestion. If your display is mounted too far from your Wi-Fi router, you may need to extend your Wi-Fi network’s range using an extender, boosters or additional Wi-Fi access points.

Great with some flaws

Has some idiotic things which I hope will be fixed in a future update though. First off, you can not edit your Home Screen to pick what functions you want to see when you use it at a glance. Could be fixed in a upcoming update. The biggest pet peeve I have about it is it is trying to get me to play all these games. On some screens there are buttons that take up have the display trying to make me play find my fish or whatever. I didn’t get this since I want to play games and I doubt anyone did, and after talking to support there is no way to edit this as of now.
